This series is going seven games, I think, and Dallas will enjoy every minute of it.

Sheesh, that was seriously an eternity ago. I totally forgot how the Griz were damn near on the way to blasting the Thunder.

the thing is, OKC had control in both games. OKC just struggle to close out these games. memphis choked the game vs the spurs before bouncing back so they were still confident.

in these 2 games, it was OKC who choked game 3 and nearly choked game 4.

but i hope these guys remain resilient and this series goes 7. best series BY FAR so far. i hope this series gets more love from the ESPN/TNT. hell, game 7 should be on ABC right?

Well that was an anticlimactic way to finish the game... Outside of that 3rd OT, this game was epic.

I don't get why Darrell Arthur wasn't in for a completely gassed Zach Randolph.

do you sub out your best players in the 3OT of a crucial playoff game? I don't think so..

In both games Durant and Westbrook performed exceedingly well. If either of them fails to show up in the next couple of games, Memphis will EASILY control the game.

In my opinion Grizzlies are always in control this series.

KD is a better isolation player b/c he's taller -> he can get his shots off vs anybody. if you watch how they play, they play the same way. both shoot well, prefer to play off the ball, get to the line, and score efficiently.

and what i meant was offensively. i'm not talking about other aspects of the game.

well, if you give kevin martin KD's height and length, i'm sure he'll be much better too.

ultimately, their styles of play resemble each other way too much offensively.

I'm not sure who will win this series, but am still thinking this go 7.

But if OKC does win, if I were Dallas, i'd be more concern about guarding Westbrook. While hes no battier or Allen, Marion should do a decent job on Durant. Matching up against Westbrook on the other hand will be, Kidd, Terry, or Barea... not good.

Lol I know right. They went up from up 18 to down 10 with like 3 minutes left to a back and forth game.

    We saw it all tonight.

Gasol has saved his best for the playoffs, he has really started working well with Randolph too. Memphis would be stupid to let him go this off season.

Next season they can have their own big 3 in Gay, Randolph and Gasol. They just need to add shooting in the wings and a back up for Gasol. They could be fearsome.

Westbrook is similar to a power running back in the NFL, he's taking a lot of damage and since he's young, he's fine right now.. However due to the way he attacks the basket, his career wont too long. Worse case, Brandon Roy.. Best case he lasts a little more then Tracy.

Randolph was totally gassed and they weren't going to him much anyways. A fresh Arthur > an exhausted Randolph.

True but you can make a case that Memphis had control of it early. They should have put OKC away early when they had them down.

This series can go either way right now.

If you gave Michael Jordan Lebron James' body, he would average 50 points per game.

very true. dallas beat the lakers easily b/c of the lakers' inability to get into the paint.

vs an aging jkidd and barea, westbrook would probably get into the paint AT WILL and cause havoc.

and marion has no chance running around picks and defending durant.

but they don't have anyone to guard dirk.

so it'll be an interesting series. but we're getting ahead of ourselves. let's enjoy this amazing series right here. can't wait for game 5.

If you gave LeBron James' Michael Jordan's skills, LeBron would have 3-peated by now.

NO, his a better ISO player because he can create space off the dribble and Martin can not. I'll admit his length helps him, but in terms of ability to create space, Durant and Martin are in two different levels.

Martin skills to create space off the dribble are extremely poor for a SG.
