I really wasn't overweight to begin with but still had to buy a lot of new clothes esp pants. What I did was get most of my shirts altered down. Gotta show off the lats!
I'm on a low carb diet right now. I normally eat pretty healthy but I like to drink which isn't a good thing when you're trying to lose weight. I do drink light beers like Bud Select. I've considered buying a pair. My friend, who is a training, recommend them.
I've had the program for about two years but never got around to starting it, to those who live in apartments, do you guys live on the ground floor? i can't imagine doing the plyo in the upper floors with all of the jumping. I will start day 1 today!
lol...yeah, that's a problem. I live on a 2nd floor apartment, and the floors and ceilings creak really bad. I can hear the people above me walking around in the mornings and evenings, so I've just timed it so I do plyo sometime between 11 and 1. I figure the person below me must have to work, so I'm banking on a 9 to 5 job. If the person is down there and I'm really loud, I haven't heard any complaints or anything. For rockstar hops and knee jumps, I usually move to a certain space in my living room that's sturdier and less squeaky than the rest of the place.
I did a Ketogenic diet (high fat, high protein, low carb) and saw some good results, dropping 5-7 lbs in a week before falling back into back habits. Wasn't water weight either because I had plateaued in the previous weeks after losing consistent weight for 2-3 months. Went from 189 to 178 to 169. Now that i've been off any sort of diet or workout, I'm back up to 174-176. Gonna try and start P90x tonight, trying to get back down to a 160 and lean up, before bulking on some weight.

I was about halfway through the whole thing when I quit for 2 or 3 weeks. Just started over today. Ugh...
RAWRRRRRRR Who's got plyo today? Man what a calorie blaster. I always dread it, but I feel fantastic once it's all over, especially cause I get 7 whole days before I have to do it again, haha. I'm really liking those small G Series Fit pouch drinks before plyo. If I have too much liquid in my stomach, I get really nauseous. Drinking a pouch 30-45 mins before my workout has been nice, keeps me hydrated well.
I have been doing HIIT for both weight lifting and cardio for couple week. Lost 5Lb with improved in muscle definition. I like HIIT training since I could come up with my own program that fits my need.
That's like starting from scratch...i feel ya... I take high impact cardio classes at my gym and if i miss a week or two, i'm focked...starting over...I just recently started taking classes again after a 2 month layoff...incorporated running/stairs again... it's about maintaining...I can tell I've gained some lbs., and watching more of what I eat...it sucks getting old...its easy to gain weight and hard as hell to lose it...
both p90x and insanity did show me results, but you really have to follow the meal plan as well, and be really strict with everything to see massive results in my opinion. -_-
