If someone would have said Lawrence Frank on here a month ago, I would have e-b****-slapped them. Now the expectations have dropped so low he's become my #1 choice. :(

My first pick would have been to keep Adelman, but seeing Sam on the sidelines would be awesome.

At this point, I think the only correct choice is whoever will lure Dwight Howard to Houston.

He doesn't have a lot of head coaching experience, but I'd take a chance on him.

He could probably put in a good word for us with KD, too.

Well, we need a coach zero personality to compliment Morey's huge ego. That eliminates Elie & Cassell. We might need that NBDL coach, so Morey can finally get someone that'll play the players he recommends. Remember, we're trying to lose as much as possible

Of the supposed "finalists," I like them in this order:

    1) McHale
    2) Frank
    3) Casey

Don't really know if the guy can coach, but I like having a fairly big NBA persona at the helm of our otherwise totally under the radar franchise.

I feel real good about this. There are alot of good options to choose from and all of them want the job except for perhaps Mike Brown who i think removed his name.

JVG is my first. Mario would be my #2 choice...

if we are going to have casey as our head coach, we should spell his name correctly...not duane, but dwane

    Elie, Casey or Sikma.

I like Sam, but it's not his time yet. Let him continue to work with John Wall for a year or two more. I'd like to see how John Wall develops.

If we can't get any of these guys, there is a high school coach in New Mexico.

    Jack Bolton.

Only the cool folks get the corny joke.

That's why I posted the picture of the coach.

Where's the choice for "Im not thrilled by any of them"

This was really a blunder by whoever made the decision (probably Les).

Of the three remaining , I dont want McHale and dont know enough about the other two to make an informed decision. I know they are both defensive minded but what can we expect on the offensive end ?

Last seasons Rockets were probably the most "Fun to watch" team Ive ever seen on the offensive end of the court .... outside of maybe the Showtime Lakers or a couple of the Dough Moe coached , motion offense Denver teams way back when.

Well maybe Casey can get a 7+ hour interview now that Dallas has so much time off.

Rick Adelman would be ideal but we all know that is never happening. These playoffs have sold me on Duane Casey but I still feel Sam Cassell would do a great job.
