You wouldn't be excited like the Mavs are, if you were going back to the WCF?

And jack up threes? What are you supposed to do...not take a shot, and let the shot clock expire?

Just imagine if that were the rockets out there right now. The deficit would be greater than or equal to 50 points right now. lol. Glad it is LA out there. :)

If Dallas can pull a game like this outta their ***, who is going to beat them?

I swear they got Reggie Miller and Ray Allen in their prime out there shooting...along with Dirk.

Wait, what? When you're up 30, you shouldn't take wide open shots at the end of the shot clock? What do you expect, just to have a 24-second violation every possession for an entire quarter? And the crowd/team shouldn't cheer when they're they're about to sweep a series in which they were enormous underdogs against the two-time defending champs?

That's seriously the most bizarre logic I've ever read in my life.

Dude, you're a frickin' idiot. I used to actually read your posts, but this is just pathetic, son. That type of play isn't acceptable against ANYONE.

If the Mavericks start airballing 3s on purpose and dribbling the ball of their own foot, it will look make the game even more unwatchable. The Lakers just have to be competitive instead of having the other team purposely miss shots and suck.

This would feel better than sex if it was any other team in the west beating the Lakers.

I'm love seeing the Lakers lose, but I hate seeing the Mavs win.

I don't think high fiving your teammate after a well set-up three constitutes "cheering like a maniac," and I also don't think Dallas should become complacent and try to milk the clock. You can argue for class all you want, but I'll bet you were one of those people criticizing Dallas for choking in Portland but a few weeks ago. This leaves no chances.

Silly Mavs, throwing in another wide open three near the end of the shot clock. They're just rubbing it in now. They should be committing 24-second violations every trip down to spare the Lakers' feelings...

they arent at the end of the shot clock first of all. 2nd of all, i dont condone what the lakers did, im just seeing i understand the lakers frustration. they threw in the towel and are embarrassed. i'm not surprised when cheap shots come in these situations.

They are getting their asses whooped and know it. They know they aren't coming back so they're going to let off steam the old school way. This is old school basketball where if the other team is still pouring it on and you're pissed about it, you let them know you're pissed. It's bush league for sure, but pouring it on by jacking 3's and driving in for layups gets a retaliation in old school NBA.

Remember when Matt Barnes said his Golden St. boys gave the NBA the blueprint to punk the Mavs?

Looks like he didn't relay that message to his Laker boys before this series.

Every single one of them has been in the last 10 seconds of the shot clock that I can remember. If you have a good shooter that's wide open, you shoot the ball, period. Maybe there's an exception for the final minute of blowouts, but to argue that not stopping the game when there's nine minutes left equates to "showing up" the other team is absurd.
