phil jackson got exposed in this series.

the mavs are the one team the lakers aren't very familiar with, and they got freaking skunked.

this also got shown back in 2009 when the rockets took them to 7 games with a depleted roster.

phil jackson can't make adjustments to save his life.

Everybody needs help and I am not one of those people that said Lebron should win it with no help. I think Lebron made the right call leaving Cleveland. In today's NBA GMs can put teams in terrible salary cap situations and i don't think players should have to stick around and suffer because of it. However, I think there is a difference between getting help and stacking the deck in your favor. I think Lebron should have went and played with Amare in New York so he could win being the man but to each his own.

Did the exact thing to Beasley and the Lakers celebrated his "grittiness".

Shoved Dirk in the back when he wasn't looking, Dirk went down.

acting or not, Odom clearly wanted to give Nowitzki the elbow/forearm. He was just waiting for him to come down the court so he deserved to get toss. Bynum should be suspended for all of next year for that bush league foul.

It's been the Lakers MO to do this when frustrated and not getting their way. Fisher on Scola, Artest, Odom, Bynum.....

It was a foul but it didn't look to me like a flagrant two. Bynum's was a flagrant two.

THat's 3 elbows to driving players already. The league doesn't need this player at all. Screw suspensions because it's proven to not be a preventative measure. Send him to Euroleague. I wish Hubie wouldve blasted it more than just calling it bush league.

Bull****. There's a difference between being tough and being dirty and classless. No place for that in the game. If you can't a beat a team without acting like thugs, you don't deserve to win.

Agreed but I think the refs gave him a flagrant two to get control of the game. If it was close Odom would not have been ejected.

It was similar to what Fisher did to Scola a few years back. Except Scola is an even more skilled flopper than Dirk.
