You just agreed to the "vastly inferior" part in post 795 lol. Re-read it.

Of course the guard is changing...when has it not changed in NBA history.

After the game tonight you have to give PP and KG mad respect. Them dudes came to play tonight and nothing was going to stop them.

KG looked like he was 7 years younger and made the heat big men his b****es. The question now will be can they do it again.

Wow. That was an incredibly stupid comment. Lol. I'm on a horrible posting streak.
I'm going to stop posting in this thread. My hatred of Boston Green is forcing me to make cruel and irrational comments.

As much as I enjoyed this game... LeBron and Wade won't be as woeful as we all saw tonight. However, much like James Jones won't be scoring 25, Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony won't be combining to go 13-16 from the field either.

KG was dominant tonight, but there's no excuse for his performance in the first two. I mean come on, Chris Bosh was defending him. We know Bosh loves to wilt inside 10 feet, so KG can't abandon the physical play on Bosh. Shaq being in wasn't as much of a train wreck as I anticipated. He was just laying back in the paint when Wade or James tried PnR. And more often than not, the two of them settled for jumpers. Better Shaq than Krstic, because even though he's probably 1/3 of his former self, Shaq is INFINITELY better than Nenad Krstic. And Fat Boy has just been GARBAGE this playoffs. He seriously needs to wake the hell up, because Shaq is less than 40% and the Celts can't afford to keep him in for an extended run.

Also nice to see Paul Pierce show up tonight. That pull-up jumper is his bread and butter, and he finally went to it. Ball don't lie....

Mike Bibby is hot garbage right now... at least Spo has given Chalmers the lion's share of PT. Where would the Heat be without Joel Anthony. He is their Battier. He was far and away their 3rd-best player tonight. Chris Bosh, on the other hand, cemented a zero night by getting stripped by a one-armed Rondo and not being in the picture for Rondo's breakaway. As I said earlier, there is no "Big 3" for Miami. Was Bosh having visions of J.J. Hickson and Ryan Hollins tonight?

Celtics death reports a bit premature. A true backs-to-the-wall performance tonight. They have too much pride to curl up and take a sweep, which probably wouldn't sit too well with a guy like KG. Say what you want, but I'd love him on my team any day. I think the home team wins the first 6 games of this series. Game 7 will be a push.

Credit the Celts' meds too. Whatever they gave Rondo.... wow. Where the hell was this Rondo when both of his arms were working.... although D-Wade didn't mean to hurt Rondo, I watched the replay again, and couldn't help but notice D-Wade sticking out his left leg right as he hits the deck. Rondo was pretty much helpless there.

P.S. Octavianus, are you and Chris Bosh related in any fashion? Because you seem to take offense every time he isn't mentioned in a positive light.

Boosh statline: 1-6 FG, 5 Rebounds.

LOL! The second coming of Charles Smith for Pat Riley.

Boosh it! Boosh it real good!

Heat are only going as far was Wade and James takes them. They need to trade Bosh for some relevant pieces.

i still think miami heat should still feel confident for many reasons:

    1) i'm sure after this game, spo will not roll Z out in the first and 3rd anymore. this was basically the reason they lost this game. you can't spot a great team like boston basically 8-10 points in the first and 3rd and expect to win a game. they basically had control of the game and that starting lineup blew it again, and it was all Z.

    2) KG will NOT have another game like that again in this series. period. he will continue to have a lot of shot attempts, but he won't be this hot.

    3) lebron and wade (particularly lebron) will not be ghosts again. i expect both to come out firing and dominating in game 4.

but again, #1 was the main reason boston won. i don't know how spo can go back to Z ever again. he is killing the team repeatedly. the starting lineup is a -69 in the playoffs, worst in the playoffs. if he rolls Z out again, he has to be the dumbest coach in the L.

Lest we forget.... I seem to remember a play that preceded Wade bringing down Rondo. It involved Paul Pierce and D-Wade getting tangled up and D-Wade ended up falling. Pierce stumbled but didn't fall down. But, if memory serves me right, Pierce stumbled because Wade was latched on to his jersey as Wade was falling down. Pierce got out of dodge with both hands up soon after. I brought that up because the Rondo injury didn't seem to be an isolated incident concerning Wade and a Celtic.

    Hmmm....

Dwyane Wade's plays in this game shows the shoulder he threw into Paul Pierce's screen in Game 1 was not isolated by any means. Funny how that got swept under the rug. Everyone was talking about how Pierce got ejected, no one bothered to ask whether Wade's shoulder charge was flagrant-worthy.

Oh well, I'll probably be accused of complaining about the officiating.....

Man Bosh was sonned by KG tonight. In a series when KG was in his prime. Pierced played a great game today on both ends. He outplayed LeBron tonight.

I'm hoping this series goes 7.
