With the rumors that there is drama with Pau and another teammate(Kobe?) and the fact that Bynum is stepping up while Pau seems to be regressing, should Morey make a run at Pau Gasol this offseason? If Pau is on the block Scola Lowry Miller Thabeet 1st for Gasol What do you think? LA gets a replacement for Pau in Scola, and a young bulldog clutch PG who can replace elderly Fisher. Losing Lowry sucks but when you have a chance to get an all star you have to do it.
I think you need to stop riding the same dildo Pau does. I would be fine with the package if you replaced Lowry with Budinger. Do you realise how ****ed up we would be without Lowry? You just brought own a world a of hate Dildo Rider.
30 but we aren't even giving anything they need ha, we'd have to like sign and trade chuck to make them consider it.
Scola and Lowry for Gasol? That's a ridiculous steal for the Lakers. Losing Gasol means they will lose defense, on offense however Scola's production compensates a good chunk of Gasol's. As for rebounding, with Bynum in the paint, and the addition of Lowry, their rebounding production shouldn't dip much at all. Lowry would vastly upgrade their PG spot to ridiculous levels. The addition of Lowry alone would make them a very strong contender. The Lakers would laugh at us if we made that deal.
If there's a Gasol firesale, how about Scola, Dragic, Bud and fodder for Gasol? Also, could Gasol play center for us, next to Patterson or Hayes in the lineup?
Without Lowry I think the trade might have a chance. Scola, Thabeet, Miller, Buddinger, Dragic is something the Lakers might consider. They'd get some youth at pg and sf which is two things they are lacking. They really don't lose much scoring and rebounding from Pau to Scola. If the Lakers (Kobe) can no longer trust Pau it would be one of the best deals they would get.
Without Dragic, who is going to be our backup PG? Not to mention, if we lose Bud, who is going to play the 3? Our 2 and 3 rotation is currently Martin, Lee and Bud. Who is going to play the 3 without Bud? If we do trade Dragic and Bud, that means we have no backup PG, no starting SF, and a rotation at the 1,2 and 3 of Lowry, Martin and Lee. That is ridiculously thin. To be honest, I don't like any trade that involves Pau Gasol. At best, he will take us to the playoffs, but nothing more.
