Maxim releases new Hot 100 and to no one's surprise the list sucks

Commentary just for commentary sake, for more stall time so I can look at the list more -->

• I'm a new Kelly Brook admirer, just out of random. Good inclusion.
• These "Gossip Girl" type stars (Leighton Meester) and the WB/CW show girls get an unusual amount of love. Some weird secret fanboy lust of socialite girls in the "in" crowd.
• I never saw Olivia Munn as having the geek crowd's back. A bit of insincerity to her. I'd prefer Danica McKellar get swapped into her place.
• Amanda Bynes EQUALLY AS HOT as Sofia Vergera
• "Where tha SISTAS?" (Alright, someone had to mention it)
• I know the appeal of Katy Perry, just NOT on board THAAAT much

Maxim is r****ded, they need to turn the list upside down at some points. can't believe shes 60 on their list.

Maybe there's something wrong with me, Kate Beckinsale is like one of my fav actresses and i think shes british too. Maybe its the whole sophisticated lady like talk, and not the airhead slutty talk I'm used to.

Maxim's list went from being gold (first 3-4 a decade ago) to don't even bother trash. Evident they went away from reader votes to industry/agent politics and stock photos. It's just a rehash of their previous year photo shots at this point.


No surprise dumpy Miley Cyrus made the list.

I was a fan of Olivia Munn's at G4*, but even then she was never actually the hottest chick on the show(s). Put her on the list, sure.....but #2? If I'm ordering the ladies in terms of a "want to bang" list, she's at least 30 spots back in line.

Maxim has as much cred now as Esquire's "sexiest woman in the world" BS annual declaration.

If they wanted to do this right, they'd ask for guys to write in online their personal celebrity top 15, tally the top 300 names from that, then do a massive online poll (with galleries available for "reference", natch).


* The way she stabbed them in the back after how hard they worked to pimp her career was cold. And now that "big network show" (Perfect Couples) she ditched them for busted and she's exposed herself for the unfunny hack she is on the Daily Show.

 

I'm down with Ana de la Reguera. She was beautiful (as the nun) in Nacho Libre.

My theory is that they realized these lists are BS, so they're going ironically commercial with the knowledge that horny teenage boys (and men...) will wank to whoever's on there anyways.
