I read some reports saying his eye was gone despite not being shot in the eye...im not sure how that would happen, maybe pressure from the head trauma?

If eddiewassnubbed is correct, then the picture would not have been taken in his house anyway.

 

You can tell it's a bad photoshop. You see sharp areas and smooth areas(lower percentage cloning or brushes). The blow up skull area look so fake or badly photoshopped. Another thing is why in black and white? If it's not taken in Osama's house then where was it taken? I see a rug been placed in the BG to make it look like it's in his Mansion.

 

i dont think it's real either, but simply being in black and white shouldn't exclude it from being real. Also, the picture wouldnt have to be in his mansion. It could also be taken later before he was dumped into the sea. i would imagine they'd take at least one picture at the time of the kill to help verify his identity and then take another once he was cleaned up to have an alternative, a less gory picture.

 

What upsetting to me is that we had to use covert operations in a country that's suppose to be helping us with OLB's capture. There's absolutely no trust between our nations and dare I say, Pakistan is being disingenuous from the start. All this while we continuously praised them for they cooperation. Ahh, I just love politics

 

It's so obviously photoshopped. You can see bad brush strokes around the eyes and wound around the skull. The obvious give away is the angle of the head lying in that position. There's no way your head would be lying in that position on the ground. The only way you head would be straight if there is something to balance the head to your shoulder.

 

Like i said, I dont think it's real either. I'm simply saying there's certain things you mentioned that wouldn't automatically exclude a picture from being real, including some of what you just wrote. The position of his face could be explained by his body being layed out on a table. The tile seen could be the wall in the background, not the floor. The "rug" you mentioned does seem to be out of place though. Doesn't fit whether he's on a table or the ground.

I find it funny that al Qaeda made a press release indicating that bin Laden was indeed dead.

 

I can't believe how evil these extremists are. They wish bad things upon us, but I wish for them to be enlightened and stop their evil doing.

 

Indeed, they had no reason to do that. If they really wanted to make the US gov look bad, they would dress up one of their guys to look like OBL and parade him around claiming we are liars.....most of the folks in the ME would not take much convincing to believe that.

Seeing the reaction from AQ tells me more about the veracity of this than anything else released so far. It would be far more advantageous to them to deny it.

i think they have to use this as motivation to get their followers to come together, regardless of what stance they take. However, if they say OBL is alive, people would want him to come forward and speak....i think at this point it's best for them to try and portray the US as cold blooded murderers to get something going.

I'm worried that they're going to try and retaliate quickly, even if it's not major, just to stop the momentum.
