You guys realize that the Bulls were undefeated against the Heat in the regular season, right? I still would expect the Heat to be them, but they are NOT going to sweep them... In fact, the Heat are not likely to sweep anybody this playoffs, but I do think they'll win it all.
Why shouldn't they? They've played the best basketball by far among the four teams left in the East and their best players aren't hobbled with injuries. If Atlanta can get its series against Chicago to go 7 games and Miami beats Boston in 5, that'll be an even easier road for the Heat.
still doesn't guarantee anything being up 2-0 does not guarantee winning the series. Rockets fans should know by now.
Sorry, but Miami has YET to beat the Bulls, and there's no way they are going to sweep any remaining team from the West apart from the Grizzlies.
did I say it guaranteed anything? I'm just defending the people that see a Miami team that's playing better than their opponents as a Finals participant. If they think the Heat, based on their ability to beat the Celtics soundly the first 2 games, are Finals-bound, so be it. People want to say they haven't played Chicago and this or that. True but this Chicago team looks nothing like a 1st seed. Boozer is injured, Rose is banged up, and Deng hasn't played all that well. The Bulls need to hope that they can wrap up the Atlanta series ASAP and that Boston can get the Heat series to seven games. I personally don't think the Heat can sweep through the East and the Finals because they'll throw up one of those nights where they just seem disinterested (e.g. that loss to Sixers in the 1st round)
I think the rest thing is overrated, unless minor injuries are a factor. Last year, the Magic swept the Hawks while the Celtics battled the Cavs for 6 games. Magic still lost the series with HCA. The year before, the Cavs lost to the Magic (again with HCA) after having swept the Hawks while the Magic had to battle the Celtics for 7 games.
rest sometimes can lead to complacency also. But I think chicago can beat Miami and Atlanta also has a chance against them. They both have very good bigs on the inside and miami has none
I dont see it, Boston will win at least 1 game, Chicago will win 2 games (or more) and if they go to the finals, the team that comes from the west, at least will win 1 game. IF Miami wins it all, I seem them losing 5-6 games.
Celtics will win on there home court.... Then Lebron is going to play different when the pressure is on . Fee fi fo fum
thunder and grizzlies will depend on how ibaka and perkins slow down gasol and randolph, while the celtics are gone with no depth down the stretch, hawks and bulls will be finished as logn as rose stops shooting 3's, lakers and mavs will come out with mavs on top. mavs vs thunder, i think will be close, but durant and westbrook will combine together again and get past the mavs defense while heat and bulls, will be over in 5-6 games. so i reckon thunder vs bulls, even though it sounds a bit far-fetched
Celtics nearly swept them too. But look at the record now. Bulls 1-1 aganist the Hawks who they dominated in the reg. season and Miami 2-0 against the Celtics who dominated them in the reg. season.
