Yes I have no e-pride and have always tried to be nice.

I of course apologize for insinuating you fabricated the information that KSM gave additional information about the courier in the summer of 2007 that led to finding his real name the same year.

All of the info I found said he gave courier information months after torture while still under CIA interrogation.

Obama won't show the pictures?!?! Just when I was praising the guy he has to go out and do this? Come on Obama you going to screw me like this in front of my esteemed bbs rockets colleagues? You are better than that Obama.. we all want to see the blood of this devil.

Easy for Obama to say since he has already seen the pics! That's like someone seeing the freak at the carnival and then proclaiming it 'no big deal' yeah well you were the one that had front row seats to see the freak show. Obama should be explaining everything.

The pics will leak eventually anyway. All of us got to see JFKs head blown off so I 'm not sure how this is different. Incite violence? Umm we just killed their leader, I would say the provoke level has turned up a notch, and they are not happy campers right now anyway.

Give us closure Obama. BIG time thumbs down for Obama on this

the AP said that in the article posted many time here

    http://news.bostonherald.com/news/u..._strands_on_bin_laden_gathered_in_cia_prison/

But the times article you just quoted basically said KSM gaves difference fake names for him and this led the to the idea he was important.

No where does it say as you claimed that KSM gave them the real name in 2007.

The quote from the article doesn't say that inhanced interrogation caused them to give up the names. In fact we now know that the name KSM gave up was not done so under inhanced interrogation but months after the inhanced interrogation happened.

So yes he was given enhanced interrogation. And not he it wasn't during any of the enhanced interrogation that he gave up the name, but after the enhanced interrogation stopped, and it was under standard interrogation.

i am not arguing against what you have just said.

I am asking Sam why he said that KSM gave the REAL name in 2007.

Obviously YOU read the same articles I did that say KSM gave the nom de guerre a few months after enhanced interrogations for him ended. Not 4 years after as Sam said.

Wow. just wow. Too much wrong with this to go into, really. Take solace that he is no longer able to mastermind destruction against us, and let the rest go. Deep breaths.

    There, don't you feel better?

so you are admitting that the waterboarding was not helpful and was torture?? yet you are arguing the semantics of what a poster on a basketball bbs said to argue some larger nonsensical point? am I following this right here swift?

Yeah your posts are real full of thoughtful gems too Casey

Thanks for making yourself into a good contributor of taking up mass, and space taking, returning us with CO2, methane, and ammonia. Good jorb

the quote didnt say it...cheney did. cheney assumes that torture produced some of the results that led to his capture.

    again...
clearly he is referring to the bush administrations authorization of torture when he says ""President Obama can take credit, rightfully, for the success ... but he owes it to the tough decisions taken by the Bush administration," - to argue other wise is willful ignorance.

and john yoo is the guy who authored the infamous torture memos, creating the "legal" justification for waterboarding and other enhanced interrogation techniques. he redefined torture to be only acts that result in organ failure or death, and even then it had to be "intentional". he claimed the president is not bound by the geneva convention or the war crimes act. he authored memos providing legal cover for the bush administration (and obama) to warrantless wiretap.

most shockingly, john yoo also argued that the president has the authority to have a child's testicles crushed in order to get info out of his parents.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Yoo

the guy is a piece of s*** who should be executed for war crimes.
