Says that within a week we'll have a head coach.
Says it's not Michael Malone, not Budenholzer, neither Van Gundy

Says the Rockets might sign DeAndre Jordan to an offer sheet, though the Rockets believe the Clippers will match
Says the Rockets believe Nene and Gasol are off the market
Says Dalembert is the most likely guy to be signed - would improve the team by four wins according to 'Rocket computer'
    and more...

Whoa there, lot's of information to process here.

Very interesting that they seemingly have their two candidates lined up. Hopefully, word leaks and the rest of us can know what's going on.

Even more interesting is the apparent commitment to pursuing a FA big (as opposed to trade, draft, etc).

Hope it's Mario Elie or Dwane Casey.

I've been saying Dalembert is the only C we have a shot at for a long time. Not exactly exciting, but effective and will do the job. The problem is you'll have the Knicks and other teams wanting him as well.

Well I'd certainly take Dalembert over Brad Miller, that's for sure.

It isn't Frank because Frank doesn't need to be mentored.

Unfortunatley no. Justice said he doesn't know it himself.

Justice also mentioned that JVG wanted to get rid of a certain guy (doesn't mention his name, said he was on 1560 a bunch), because Jeff felt the guy was all about numbers, not winning. Alexander was really commited to him, so from what I understand, they kept him. Wasn't totally clear to me though.

Justice also said that last summer they went after a whole bunch of guys, including Lebron, Carmelo & Joe Johnson and mentioned that the Rockets felt that Bosh was already commited to Miami when they met with him.

Dalembert was kind of on a terror the past few weeks of the season. He was also playing well over 30 minutes a game during that time span, which isn't bad for a 30 year-old, seven footer.

    Still, he's 30 years old.

"Two guys separated themselves from the pack..."

Sounds like we already interviewed them.

"Morey feeling the heat to make the playoffs next year.."

Ugh. I hate hearing that. We haven't been rebuilding, we've been swapping out parts trying to stay afloat. Rebuild, damnit!

said the list wasnt as long as it seemed...agents just started throwing their guy's name out there in the mix.

2 names separated themselves, but still looking.

Morey feels pressure to get to the playoffs next year...AKA not tanking.

I agree with this and at 30 years of age and as a player who has only averaged 25 minutes a game once in the last three years he is not likely to be a progress stopper for a young player.

BTW, 4 more wins would have put is in the 7th seed and more than likely kept Memphis out of the play-offs. Hmmmmm.
