i don't think jordan got all the respect until he won a ring. he wasn't considered the best player in the L unanimously until then. but now, he's the GOAT. you better respect the greatest of all time (unless you're goodbug of course; kobe can challenge him)
People will continue to hate b/c they still see the introduction celebration and the decision. He brought this upon himself so he needs to suck it up.
The guy has a legacy. This is no T-Mac or Grant Hill we're talking about here. Lebron's not a guy who puts up great numbers but has accomplished NOTHING at the team level. He's made the playoffs every year since his third year in the league and advanced past the first round of the playoffs every time. He's played in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals. He's certainly had some major disappointments the last two years, but the guy has a legacy already.
Wipe off your mouth and open your eyes, they're all over the place. You've been spending too much time on your knees, son.
Dey only come out if lebron score a triple double then misses an extremly contested shot at the last second. But if kobe play like crap all game, shoots 10 out of 35 shots but makes a lucky basket near da end, greatest closer of all time. They aint here like yeterday when kobe missed da last second shot. Wheres da "Kobe chokes again" thread?
Winning. I can admire a player without the cults of personality that is actively encouraged in this league. Too bad certain people are woefully incapable of doing this.
 I'm still here, been outta town. I'm very surprised that the first 2 games were not a split. Boston has some serious work to do. Still plenty of time left for epic Lebron chokes.
Here's a Lebron hater and I will stand by my hate for him as long as he isn't wearing Rockets Red... But I stand that way about most players
Most of the Lebronophiles on this site aren't Rocket fans though. It's a fundamental issue. As I've explained earlier, I'm not a "hater." I'm a critic though. The media creation hubbub that is Lebron still outweighs his accomplishments, by a ton, and it will be that way until: (A) ESPN quits slobbering over him every chance they get, and/or (B) He wins several championships (which I expect he will win at least two with Wade.) He should probably get one this year. The Celtics look awful (and did in the first round, and did in the last part of the season), and that's the last real roadblock in the East. It could really be Heat-Hawks in the East finals. Give me a break. Then, in the Finals, the possible opponents are worse than the Celtics (or they are currently -- see the Lakers.) I don't want to speak for them, if they even exist, but maybe they're in grammar and punctuation class. You should give a try.
