    I think they shot him when he started a finger wagging speech when the Seals entered his room. They weren't about to sit through more of his dribble. I'd rather they shot him in cold blood than listen to him lecture like he is the second coming. Enough! Pop! Pop! I would have wished they had the opportunity to jab their finger in his face or in his chest first.

    I think he couldn't be taken alive. Imagine the months/years leading up to and during his trial. The anti-american propaganda aimed at inciting extremists coming out of his mouth would be never-ending and dangerous to national security. It would be a nightmare.

    I could also picture a series of random kidnappings around the world by terrorists, asking for the release of Bin Laden in exchange for their prisoners.
