It is amazing how less clutch Kobe seems when his teammates don't offensive rebound his missed game-winning attempts.

kobe didn't choke the game please. pau gasol choked that game away.

but i really have to give props to dirk. some of the shots he takes and makes are just wow. tmac used to be the player who would put me in awe at the shots he can take and make. now it's dirk. ridiculous.

but if the mavs win this series, the difference will be chandler. a key stat: ALL of kobe's 29 shots attempts were from outside 11ft. he got ZERO at the rim. ZERO. and that's huge. as a result, he couldn't make any plays for his teammates as evident by the ZERO assists.

Sorry, but you're wrong. The definition of choke has been changed on this board to include any time someone misses a potential game winning shot (unless his teammates bail him out by tipping in the miss). At least that's the standard Lebron James is held to.

Has this been posted? I realize I'm late to the party. I'll post it anyway.

It's sad because everyone was praising him to be a god before he joined Miami.

I'm 130% positive that everyone would claim LeBron choked if his last 3possessions were:

    -turnover
    -turnover
    -missed wide-open game winner

I do. He will redeem himself if they beat LA, which I don't expect to happen.

And the fact that he is a flopper. But flopping on the Lakers and getting the call to seal the game is a forgivable sin. :)

It wasn't the first time, & won't be the last. Dirk told us he was going to sheet on the grizzlies, and did it and Pau didn't have anything he could do about it.

Pau is overrated and has been since going the lakers.

Overrated? They've made 3 Finals appearances since he went there, including the last two championships. Wouldn't have happened without him. If that is "overrated", then overrated is a compliment.

Of course. Everyone would claim Lebron choked if his last three possessions were:

    -four-point play
    -four-point play
-missed contested half court game winner at the buzzer
