Martin is funnier than Johnson....... :)

Anyways even though Johnson is the better player sometimes he just vanishes in games ha. Not worth a max contract when he does that.

Johnson is ~1-2 years away from being the worst contract in the league.

Would of been worth it to get Bosh though.

My impression of Johnson isn't very good.

Hawk's offense has been horrible for the longest time. I know this isn't entirely Johnson's fault, but he is their best player. This certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

Despite that, he's still a superior player to KM, but it's still somewhat of a lateral trade. He would also take away from Lowry's effectiveness as a playmaker which isn't ideal.

JJ is the better all-around player but if you're factoring in contracts there's no way anybody should be choosing him over Martin.

The Hawks ended up giving him $30M more over the duration of his contract than anybody else could have. Talk about bidding against yourself (P.S. Hi Z-Bo!).

The Hawks only won one more game than the Rockets, so I think if you change places between Johnson and Martin, the record would be similar.

Really? Last year the Hawks were 2nd overall in offensive efficiency.

Unless Joe Johnson is bringing Horford and Zaza with him...does it really matter?

Money? Max contracts? I think that Joe Johnson and Bosh would realize, like the big 3 in Miami did, that for 2 stars to play together they would have to take less money, I wouldn't want to bring either Bosh or Johnson by themselves here. However, coupled together? Hands down. That would be amazing. Think about it.

We bring Bosh and and we could trade Scola for a decent center, that's gametime people!
