The Hawks will find it very hard to score against Chicago's defense because their offense is built around perimeter players playing one on one.

Horford will the best big in the series however.

Why do you say this? Rose shot bad most of the Pacer series but his teams D kept it close and won them games. I'll give him credit he made clutch shots but you've got to credit his team (except maybe Boozer) for covering up for his inefficiency like they did most of the regular season.

If I had to bet, I would say Bulls in 5. But I voted for a sweep.

Atlanta ekes one out. Anyone's free to point out the particulars but in the end, it come down to the Bulls are just too much overall for a the Hawks.

ESPN said yesterday that Hinrich isn't expected to play any games in this series. If the Bulls get their act together (even with Boozer struggling), they should sweep as Rose dominates. Otherwise the Hawks could win a couple of games.

Hinrich is the only Atlanta player capable of offering Rose much resistance. Jamal Crawford and JJ won't have a chance.

Jeff Teague is athletic enough to stay in front of Rose. If he can stay out of foul trouble (big if, especially with the type of calls Rose gets), don't be surprised if he ends up doing a decent job.

But yeah, I get it: losing Hinrich hurts.

Bulls in 6. Hawks a better team but the Bulls still have the big difference maker and if Boozer can wake up this can be a sweep.

I meant to say the Hawks are a better team from last year, not that they are the overall better team.

But yeah Rose against teague or whoever it is will not help the Hawks much. I think they win two games because they will play tough and Rose will not be able to carry his team by himself so Boozer needs to wake up.

bulls in 5, much easier matchup imo for the bulls. isolating crawford and jj pretty much the whole game will not do against this defense.

I have a feeling this won't be a very watchable series (outside of Derrick Rose), with the Hawks' slow pace coupled with their penchant for chucking.

You're absolutely right. Between the ugly style of ball and the fact that the teams have a combined one elite player, don't expect this to be very fan-friendly or set any TV ratings records.
