I think the whole point is to make Will Ferrell's character unlikeable...because he's not gonna be on the show after this season If he came on and was awesome, everyone would be pissed that they didn't keep him around to replace Carrell
Anybody else think that Michael giving the book on "How I Manage" to Daryl could mean that Daryl takes over as manager?
I thought maybe it would be Andy since he gave him his 10 biggest clients. Kind of like passing the torch and we'll see Andy grow from here on out.
the show was funny from the start, even in the short first season...the "tester" season. it was fresh and different. i honestly have a difficult time imagining this show lasting too much longer without michael. as goofy as he got at times, i just don't know that it's going to retain any sense of its self now that he's gone.
I watch Michael Scott mostly at this point, now that he's gone... ? Jim turned into sort of a douchebag. Pam turned into a b****. They completely cut the importance of many of the minor characters in the show: Creed, Toby, Kelly, Ryan, etc. But I still love the office.
they have hinted all season that Daryl wants to be the next manager I think it will end up being between him and Dwight
The fact that you referred to it as "How I Manage" and not "Somehow I Manage" leads me to believe that the entire joke went over your head.
I think DeAngelo would be fine if he stayed, probably even more like David Brent than Michael. I think more of his outside sales meetings and interactions with HR and upper management could be gold.
The internet is serious business. Question to everyone in this thread...who were all of the "candidates" they showed to replace Michael? I know there were Gervais, Arnett, and Carrey. I seem to remember someone else besides Ferrell but I could be wrong.
