Is it just me, or does anyone else still crack up at the craziness of this? Of course, someone could have been seriously hurt- still crazy after all these years.

Definitely, his TV special was a bit arrogant and redundant (not for ESPN; TV advertisers; and the NBA though), but at the end of the day I never cared that much then and care even less now.

As far as players moving teams and leaving on their own, it happens every season. Why should a player be loyal to one town, when GMs will trade players like trading cards or even ship a franchise out of town from the city without a second thought if another city bites on a new stadium and fund it through tax money. No matter how great or poor the fan base is.

Is it possible for someone to "hack" into a Tweeter account? I'm very ignorant about that stuff.

All the teams that go up against the Lakers or the Heat will need to win by a big margin. If its even remotely close, forget about it.

They will be playing 5 vs 8.

Stern will sell his soul (if any left) for a Lakers vs Heat matchup.

Or maybe they are in the top 4 best teams in the league, and out play the other teams.

Won't a Celtics/Lakers Final draw as much of an audience as Heat/Lakers? If so then I don't get this whole conspiracy about the NBA letting the Heat win this series.

Didn't Lakers shot 99 less FT through the first three rounds in playoff last year?
Didn't Lakers have FT deficit in first round against Hornets this year?
When did this ever happen to a LBJ/Wade's team?

Stern has his agenda, but you better get it right.

Rondo has to develop a jumpshot this offseason, it's so frustrating to see how people just sag off and deny his drives. He has no confidence in his jumper, was absolutely useless wit Chalmers defending him.

Didn't Stern ref RA and the Kings out of a ring? If there ever was an agenda, I'm pretty sure the Lakers and Kobe are number 1 on that list.

Haven't you heard the goodbug excuse before? The fix in game 6 was justified because there was a bad call in the final minute of game 5 that went against the Lakers.

    Call changes:

Jermaine O'Neal flagrant 1 rescinded to personal foul.
James Jones technical foul rescinded, changed to flagrant 1.

No further punishment for Paul Pierce.

as bad as the Celtics played yesterday, they were still in the game until Pierce got ejected. This is going to be a good series, and hopefully 7 games. Not sure who will win though. Miami's role players need to be consistent and that's something that can't be counted on. However, if Rondo lays an egg like he did, then the Celtics have no chance of winning.

Paul Pierce actually had an ok game after a slow start and Ray Allen continued his unbelievably hot shooting. Rondo and Garnett played like crap.

But Miami has a lot of room for improvement as well. Only Wade and James Jones actually played well. Lebron was average (for him) at best. Bosh was a no-show offensively but rebounded well. None of the other role players contributed anything offensively.

Spoelstra shouldn't trot out Bibby and Ilgauskas to start. But, that's probably just me.
