I love Scola but it's not even close at this point, Zbo is the better player in just about every category.

I know that Z-BO is much better than Scola, I honestly believe you would have to be Argentinian or something to think other wise, but in a package for Dwight, I would do my best to keep Martin. Howard doesn't want to go to a rebuilding team. Martin would help attract Howard and them two on the same same would be incredible. You have the most efficient guard and one of the most efficient bigs. And i would trade Lowry for Paul but I wouldnt sell the farm for Paul like i would for Dwight. If you think Lowry was decent as a first year starter, Wait til next year. He is a great worker and plus he is getting better at golf which helps you shooting.
I DON'T SEE ANYTHING IDIOTIC ABOUT THAT.

Funny you call people idiots for not wanting to trade Martin for Dwight. Newsflash anyone with common sense knows Dwight does not want to go to a team that does not have someone appealing for him to play with. Now whether or not Dwight would want to team up with Martin I don't know. What I do know is he would not want to come to Houston if we gutted the roster very bad to get him.

I'd trade anything for Dwight, but only with an extension.

Yeah, honestly, I'd swap Lowry for CP3 in a second, that's a given. But I also have to agree with a lot of posters, I'd do my best to try and keep KMart if we had a shot at Howard. It makes sense to keep a guy who can hit the 3 and get to the line the way KMart does if you have a 5 like Dwight. I'd pretty much give Orlando everyone BUT Kmart to get Dwight though ha! Imagine how many players you could foul out with both KMart and Dwight drawing fouls, that's be a pretty good offensive strategy, especially if someone taught Dwight to hit his foul shots a little more consistently :D

He wouldn't agree to an extension when he can just demand a trade to NJ or LA who would have a key player to play with while the rest of you are giving up anything for the guy.

Orlando was eliminated in the 1st round of the Eastern Conference of the playoffs with Dwight as the main guy surrounded by inconsistent players with the I would give up anything for Dwight comment Houston would be worse than what he has in Orlando.

Ok yeah go ahead and ask this question when Zach Randolph is leading his team in the playoffs and Scola is somewhere in Argentina. Great timing.

Scola is only 14 months older than Zack.

Zack has been 9 years in the NBA, Scola only 3.

Come on!!! people think this poll is dumb because Zach is playing like a superstar these days.

Zach has talent but has been thought of as a cancer in a team until recently. That's why Blazers traded him even when he's their Alpha dog.

Zach was and is a borderline criminal. If that's too harsh, then I think it is fair to say that Zach make poor decisions - and will in the future, too - and associates with criminals (not borderline, either).

It wasn't a mistake for Blazers to trade Zach. It was simply a decision they have to make to go in a different direction. Zach has always been one hell of a player. To be fair, he's also a thug (forget the mindless drag racing up Broadway - are you forgetting the double teams/borderline rape at the suite at the PDX hotel?).

It is difficult to run a business when you build your team around a low life like Zach. He's a terrrific, high IQ basketball player, low intelligence person who just wore out his welcome in Portland. That's pretty much it, I think. There's nothing more to talk about.

That said, I would take Scola 7 days a week.

I voted that z-Bo is better, overall bad timing for this considering has just had surgery in his knees and the other has destroyed duncan, mcdyess, perkins and ibaka lately.

To say on Scola's defense, he has been always solid against SA frontcourt and also OKC's frontcourt if that's what you are talking about.

Can I admit I've watched about 20 of these loop repeats? The shove-off is elegant in manner despite behemoth size of the players. Somehow thinking Chris Dudley coulda done something different to redeem himself...but nope.
