    Watch some old movies especially ones from the 70's you'll see some influences.. No **** he does his own thing, he's the director.. I'm talking about the elements he add to his movies, little homages from old movies..
    Clearly Kill Bill is not the first female vigilante movie you've ever seen before right???

    can't stand the guy. most of his movies are basically replicas of asian cinema.

    I like his movies, but it's one thing to do an homage and another to just completely take something. I thought it was eff'd up that he called his movie "Inglorious Basterds" when there was already a movie called "The Inglorious Bastards" that is about a group of soldiers in WWII.

    Now he's using the name Django when there is already a spaghetti western titled Django.

    It was meant to be like that (a remix if you will). If you watched both movies you would know they are entirely different. Tarantino's is better, and it's not even close.

    I'm watching this during a mantinee in the lily white suburbs when it comes out.
