matt schaub is happy...he is no longer the slowest qb. Yates posted a 5sec 40. for those claiming wasted pick...it's a 5th rounder, let's not be too dramatic. Orlovsky's time is fading and i dont see Leinart sticking around for too long either. Get Yates into the system with minimal pressure and allow him to develop the next year or 2.

I disagree. With the way defenses are going after QBs, your starter is one play away from being on IR. Gotta have some kinda of good insurance - and no Orlovsky and Leinart do not qualify.

I love the people complaining about a 5th round pick. The odds of any of these people contributing are a crap shoot at best.

His junior year was pretty decent but wasn't have the UNC team suspended his senior year? all their big play makers were suspended and he really didn't have much to work with.
