Even with all these picks , I still want asomoah and/or a veteran corner free agent

Sal just said he believes Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, and Texans are the teams that will go hard after Nhamdi.

Sorry got ahead of myself in excitement. Although, I don't know what team wouldn't want Nhamdi, so singling out those teams probably means theres substance.

He didn't confirm anything. Try not misrepresent what he said TigerBait.

He qualified the whole segment when he said "I believe..."

He didn't confirm that. He just stated that as his opinion.

Sal just mentioned Houston texans as competition for asomoah along with Dallas, Philly, and Washington again. He did mention Philly loves to pay big to corners.

Texans better pony up. I wouldn't even be mad if they overpay. Take a financial risk for crying outloud

Philly has a history of developing/acquiring good corners. I didnt really listen to why he thinks Philly is the Nnamdi race, but they have Samuel and Patterson who really picked it up last season. Was the Samuel injury that big?

He mentioned that they are looking for someone to plug into the right corner position since hobbs' neck injury is bad and Sheldon brown was traded

NFL Network said he was disappointed with his time and ran again at his pro-day and got a 4.39

Is it really a "risk"? the guy is the best corner in the NFL

I agree, asomoah would make this team a legit super bowl contender, that alone would be worth it.

Would be exciting to be in the race for Aso but realistically, against those teams, I don't know that we have a chance. Give me Ike Taylor and/or Eric Weddle and call it a day.

It's about the money. If Bob is willing to pay (I know, I know), the Texans absolutely have a chance.

For some reason I'm really not high on Ike Taylor. I'd rather get Joseph out of Cinci.

It's a risk in a sense that he might not work out, but he ties up a lot of money. I also had the fact that the texans don't go for the big splash names because of the money they would demand.
