SB Nation - Brian Galliford Marvin Austin at 39 (Titans) and Austin Williams at 40 (Cowboys). Moore once again goes undrafted, looks like the consensus thinks that he will be available in the third.
They did, and I'll bet Ike stays with the steelers. Maybe go after someone like Johnathan Joseph from the Bengals? You know, we really don't even need a star CB. Just a serviceable veteran would do WONDERS for this defense. Having our pass defense going from really, really bad to average would be a HUGE improvement for this team and would probably win us the division...
I agree. I don't necessarily think it's "Nnamdi or bust"; I just hope to see some desperately-needed attention paid to the secondary (and that includes the safeties).
Wow, didn't know that. Yeah Joseph would be fine with me as well. As long as they get some sort of playmaking veteran instead of relying on Kareem and a rookie.
I'm personally hoping for OLB or NT. Address secondary in FA (If we are ever allowed). Ayers would be nice. Could use a OLB who can cover.
Would've like Williams, but as I've been beating and kicking that dead horse, I don't think they were taking one either way. (Harris being the last real option at our spot, IMO) Crossing my fingers for Austin, Paea, or Ayers.
Sheard, Dowling, Williams are taken. This second round pick is almost more exciting than the first round.
Not too bright and past drug issues is what I keep hearing. Also seemed to fall apart under pressure (turnovers, bad throws, etc.). From what I've heard anyway...
Any chance the Texans take Bowers (if available)? Everyone seems concerned about the knee (too much potential to pass on IMHO), and can he play 3-4 OLB?
