So the Hawks stumble, bumble, cough and wheeze the last 6-7 minutes and win because the Magic weren't able to take what was offered to them.

Pencil the Bulls into the ECFs. This is why getting the #1 seed was so important.

Orlando is trash. Pitiful performance and a subpar year. Feel bad for D12.

    totally agreed.

now the heat and the celtics will probably go to a 7 game grind it out series. Most likely tired and probably banged up. The bulls gonna have it relatively easy against the hawks

Nelson and Richardson are extremely disappointing. Remember when Rafer took Magic all the way to the Finals and all of a sudden Nelson came back from injury and the team played like ****.

Nelson = Starbury. Good stats. Terrible PG.

Damn, nice prediction. I didn't think this series would even be close.

Yeah, probably to the Fakers for Walton, Barnes, and a bag of Big League chew.

Time for the Magic to blow it up after Dwight leaves. Gilbert Arenas is a curse.

At least this seals up Howard coming to Houston in the off-season :)

Well, as it turns out I was dead-wrong about this series. Didn't think the Hawks had it in them.

But, hey, sometimes you're glad to be wrong.

Magic have more talent than you are saying, the Magic made the ECF last year , made the NBA finals two yrs ago .

You weren't dead wrong. As evidenced by the offense completely imploding and their matador defense giving up free layups in crunch time, the Hawks did NOT have it in them. The game was on a platter for the Magic to take but they failed. The final straw was Redick missing a wide-open game-tying 3-pointer at the end.

I will give the Hawks credit for their win in game 1. They deserve it. But their 3 wins at home were not impressive at all and the blowout in game 5 was just pathetic. I can't remember feeling so negative about a team winning a series. They are clearly the weakest of the remaining 8, no matter what happens with the Grizz/Spurs.

But there are 22 NBA squads wishing they were in the Hawks place. It's all about scoreboard and the team exceeded expectations.

I agree the Hawks weren't very impressive at all. At the same time, let's not lose sight of the fact of how broken this Orlando team is. It's kind of sad actually. Orlando's days are as an Eastern Conference power are clearly over.

That is the real story of this series. I think the Magic may end up like the Suns. Longer term, I expect them to become irrelevant for a while.
