I think the point was that we did have the 25th pick in the draft and Ibaka was picked with the 24th pick in the draft. Yes we did trade that pick to Portland... but we did not have to. Not that it would have mattered since Ibaka was not going to be traded to us.
Guys, We need to get serious! I-Block-A is not going to be on the market. I wish but it's just not going to happen. However ,I have a plan that can put us in the play-offs and where can make a deep run! I would make a serious run for both Earl Clark and Krylenko in free agency. I would move up to draft Jan Vessley and trade for either Iguodola or Granger. I would offer Scola and J. Hill to either Philly or Indy and a furture pick Point Guard Lowry/Grogic Shooting Guard Martin/Lee Small Forward Iggy or Granger/Bud/T Will Power Foward PP/Clark/Vessley Center Krylenko/Hayes/Yao/Thabeet This gives us size, plus we stay young! memphis is giving San Antonio hell, the same with N.O and LA! We only need some one who can block a shot, make a shot, and rebound.
