Man I thought I would tear up when they showed that clip of Jim talking to Michael. Love him or hate him... Michael Scott is one of top TV characters of all time. BEFORE YOU FLAME. I didn't say top 5 or top ten, but one of the top. Easily ahead of Uncle Jesse, Uncle Joey and Danny Tanner. Way ahead of Alf, Charles, Mike Seaver. Not as cool as the Fonz, Sawyer from Lost, Tony Soprano or Ari Gold... but you get the idea.
Oh, easily ahead of Sawyer and Tony- let's face it, Sopranos was a great show, but I'll take Michael Scott any day any day over T.S. Ari Gold is cool. Fonz is a legend. I have my own list of favorites- James Rockford, Frazier Crane, Reverend Jim and Louis DePalma, Archie Bunker, Adrian Monk, Columbo, whatever Brian Cranston's character name is from Breaking Bad, Hank from Californication, Mulder and Scully, etc. But Michael Scott is absolutely in my top 5.
Definitely got very teary during Dwights reading of the letter, Jim's goodbye, and Pam chasing him down. Can't believe it's over.
I cried during the convo with Jim. Then I saw that Jim Carrey is going to be on one of the episode and my head exploded. I am actually typing this without a head.
He didn't go out with a bang like I thought would happen. Funniest moment was Gabe mumbling "..yeah walk away b****".
