After last year's playoff against LA watching Durant struggle against one of the slowest overrated defenders . I doubted his 4th quarter execution But After watching that game man oh man if he keeps talking to the rim he's unstoppable . If they play the Griz or the Spurs they don't have anyone to stop him not Sam Young and not Shane but the Griz and Spurs played well against the Thunder in the regular season so it should be an exiting matchup cant wait
Its too late now but Denver was robbed. That was clearly a backcourt violation by Durant plus he committed an offensive foul on his way to his last shot pushing Kenyon Martin out of the way.
I thought that was a back court violation too. They showed the replay during the game and it looked pretty clear. On another note, Perkins still looks like he'd rather be playing for the Celtics
I've read about the violation quite a bit today, quick summary for those that didn't watch the post game with Kenny and Charles last night: There is no question he went over the line, but that doesn't mean it was a backcourt violation. He can go over the line if he doesn't have full possession of the ball while still fully in the front court (apparently even if it is just momentum). Then he is not in the frontcourt until the ball and both feet are in the frontcourt. Side judge focused on the line. Back judge watched the ball/durant's momentum. hence the quick confab and overturn. http://www.nba.com/video/channels/originals/2011/04/28/durant_halfcourtline.nba/index.html (wish this had more detail explaining it and slow motion) (props to people at dailythunder)
