I think they will just look at how the Spurs won they needed two lucky shots. I can see Memphis taking care of business in game 6.

we just saw why popovich is one of the greatest coaches because of those out of bounds plays? uhh, on the first one the spurs almost got it stolen twice and barely scrambled to get a shot off. and on the second he just threw it to gary neal and said shoot a contested 3 and please make it. pop might be a great coach, but that was just luck and amazing shooting (which has probably been responsible for more playoff and title wins than anyone cares to admit).

When I see this kind of argument, it makes me cringe. Okay, Jameer Nelson coming back was a huge choke job, because Rafer was performing very well. But what are the Grizzlies getting from the SF spot? Sam Young? Shane Battier? Rudy Gay at 50% is better than both of those two put together.

Based on how Parker and Ginoboli got their groove back in OT and jump shots fell just like that, I'd say Battier could possibly have cost the Grizz a series. Battier missing an epic defensive assignment and now bets are all off.

Kinda interesting that the Spurs are in quite a few games with last second shots....

    Tonight's Shot
    Fisher Shot
McGrady 13 points in 39 seconds
    Duncan 3-Pointer Shot
    Shaun Elliot "tippy toes" Shot
Wasn't there one against the Suns in the playoffs?

Help me out, I know there are others...

    What a game!

Props to the Spurs for protecting their home court and not going down tonight.

They will still lose the series.

You can do a lot more than just catch and shoot in 1.7 seconds. Hell, Derek Fisher turned and shot with .4 seconds left (total BS).

Manu and Neal made 2 ridiculous shots. Memphis made their FT's. Not a choke job, imo..

exactly. i think they made all of their free throws late in the game. and they almost stole the ball on the first miracle shot. only a bad bounce and a crazy shot by manu even extended the game to the neal shot.

I think Grizz are better without Rudy stopping the offence, They now focus their offense on their strengths which is their strong front court.

Great game. I was wholeheartedly rooting for the Grizzlies. The Ginobili flops were a menace to the eyes and the ZeBounds were rebounds on totally another level.

    Spurs stole this one.

Grizzlies blow the Spurs out by 20 in Game 6. I'm going to the bookies now.

Derek Fisher threw up a Ralph Sampson-esqe prayer. No way to defend that unless you had a time machine or could read minds.

Manu, and especially Neal, got decent looks and converted.

    Inexcusable, especially for Neal.

Battier should be walking back to Memphis.

    It's about team chemistry

Young and Battier both give them good perimeter defense and pretty efficient scoring All clutch shots should be on Randolph cause he's their efficient go to guy that proved his worth.

Gay is selfish ego-maniac without D and passing skills. He'll destroy their new philosophy, especially if he is far far away from being 100%

If Memphis has wishes of winning this series, they better win game 6. It's gonna be extremely tough for them to win in SA for a game 7.
