Battier should have thrown that inbounds pass with 1.7 in the backcourt. Not doing that made the game much tougher.
as far as i can tell, the only time mayo was close enough to foul was when neal was shooting. with 1.7, unless you are just hugging the guy and completely confident he isn't going to shoot, how can you risk it? this isn't like that chicago game against us when noah was holding the ball with his back to the basket and we let him hand it off to rose for a 3. that was a great time to foul when up 3. this was almost impossible.
