Yes, Hall and the Astros *did* get lucky. And, I'll freaking take it. It's a freaking W for crying out loud. We *all* know this isn't a good team this year. Go Astros! Get lucky one more time in the next two days!!
How did the Stros win that game?!? Haha Good to see the offense playing well but the bullpen....ouch.

Fun game! Missed the ending live due to terrible weather up here, but caught the highlights on mlb.com. Awesome ending.
SWOLY!!! Well said sir. If you guys are going to be so pissy, why do you even watch? Stop torturing yourselves. Yeah I hung my head a bit after Sanchez's error and the three unearned that followed. But I also couldn't wait for us to come up in the next half and my faith was validated when Pence tagged the train tracks. That's what it's all about. Promise, hope, failure, redemption, heroes, and goats... ride the wave, don't b*tch about it.
I love it when fans tell other fans how to watch. Our Astros SUCK, my friend. They suck big, round, heavy donkey balls. And they're my team, and I'm not going anywhere. I'm not "torturing myself" in the least when I point out the obvious. So, save your breath. Go Astros!
I can't remember the last time the Astros and Cardinals played a game that didn't have a run differential of less more than 3. They ALWAYS play close games even if the pitching matchups are lopsided.
Last year in compiling a 10-5 record against the Cardinals, they had a bunch of 3-run games (7). They also lost 5-0, 8-0, and 8-4. They also won 5-1, 9-4, and 18-4. Only two games were decided by fewer than three runs (both losses, 1-2 and 2-4).
Ed Wade signed Hall and Barnes to hit more HRs this season from the Astros middle infielders. That strategy is now paying off.
that's a weird strategy. wouldn't you want defense, defense, defense, and OBP from your middle infielders?
Ed Wade does not value OBP. Wade is no Billy Beane, sadly. FWIW Barnes and Hall are also an upgrade from last year's defense.
