I used to have this really awesome still capture from game 6 of the Warrior-Mavs series where these two Mavs fans are standing in a sea of yellow wearing Warriors fans going absolutely nuts as the Warriors closed out the series. The Mavs fans looked like someone just ran over their dog. It was awesome.

Yes a lot of firepower but remember Dunleavy was included in the trade that brought Jackson and Harrington.

knicks/heat & nuggets/sonics series were best of 5, so its more impressive to see a 1 beat an 8 in a best of 7.

even though it was a best of 5, that Knicks/Heat series was an epic one... there was an Allan Houston buzzer beater and Larry Johnson was Clutch through the entire playoffs... Ewing watched from the bench during that lockout shortened season's NBA Finals.

it was also the last time (and only time) the 8 seed made it all the way to the NBA Finals.

SA had the best record for most of the season and Memphis had never won a playoff game before this series

Damn I forgot that Dallas won 67 games that year. That is truly unreal.

In defense of the OP, the Nugz over the Sonics is the only one that matters.

How could anyone forget the marvelous choke job by the Mavs against the Warriors? That series still makes me smile to this day. Whenever Mavs fans say the Rockets suck I point to three things. 1) No rings 2) 2006 Finals Choke job 3) My personal favorite: Mavs #1 seed choking vs. the #8 seeded warriors

The Knicks team was not a true 8th seed, that was during the lock out shortened season.
