Memphis is 3-1 against Dallas this year head to head so what does that mean now? Head to head we are 0-2 against Philly so does that mean Philly is better than us even though our record is better?
I love smart women. Listen to DG. Not the delusions of Old Mans who have lost touch on reality. Or forgotten their medicine.
This gets thrown around way too carelessly on the BBS nowadays. Stop generalizing and give some specifics. WHO was so stressed out before the trade deadline that it clearly impacted their play, and then was so relieved after the trade deadline that their stellar improvement was the impetus that resulted in our late season run. You are not the only one who has run this fallacy in the past and NO ONE has given me an answer yet. I have talked about what the REAL reason, or at least the real major reason, why our play picked up. And Morey was instrumental in allowing it to play out. Back to nap time Old Man.
Agreed. And looking at those two teams, NO has Paul and superstars take over in the playoffs. Memphis doesn't have a superstar but they have better bigs and perimeter players than the Rockets.
Nola has a superstar and memphis has 2 guys (1 is not even playing) that might be better than anyone on the rockets roster I think the answer is pretty obvious
Memphis would outplay us any day with the way they are playing. and We match up bad against the Spurs.
Yes, and this season we missed it because Adelman kept playing Brooks 20 mins a game. I'm not sure what your post has to do with Morey trading us out of the playoffs, we had a better record once Morey made his trades.
Yep, those 5 points on 42% shooting (33% from three!) sure did save the season for Memphis. Oh, I forgot to credit him with 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and .4 blocks per game. If Morey hadn't gifted them that stellar production Memphis would have been doomed. DOOMED!
Love the "Carlton" inuendo concerning CP3. He looks and post-game dresses the part. I think Carlton's bod is more comparable to Lowry's though.
we are not that far off for contending. I say that only because Memphis and NO are apparently not that far off either. The state of NBA is no real scary awesome teams. A few better teams, but no team to get scared about. Some of the posters here seems pretty scared, and negative about everything.
We played Memphis, what, 4 or 5 times this year? And as I recall we dominated them every game except maybe 1
