Morey Has built us a Great Back Court. Its young it can score and it can defend ( with the exception of Kevin).

We need mobile 250+ pound 6'10 or taller guy who can rebound and block shots. Period.

Guards whether they are points or shooting guards are not going to fix what is wrong with this team.

Rubio is a good player but he would not impact us being better then what we are right now.

Battier and Brooks may not worth too much this past season, but they sure were hot assets in that year. I would agree that not getting much out Battier and Brooks is another big mistake by Morey.

I am glad you agree that trading Lowry for Rubio is a bad idea, but I am afraid Morey would disagree with both of us.

Let's see how Morey's picks/trades will do without Adelman holding his hands.

Lowrys peak is not yet here. I think next year you might see it or the year after that. This doesnt appear to have happened like Aaron Brooks where we had limited offense and Brooks volums shots created his stats because we needed scoring from him. Lowry genuinely appeared to have learned his position and grew into a better point guard through practice.

Morey no trade Lowry. Evar!!!!!! Understand?

    Sincerely,

    No way,

Kyle is bad ass and other players follow his lead. Most players have career years before their contract but Kyle had his after signing his contract, that should tell you a lot about him.

We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good coach. Let's get a young and hungry coach.
We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good PG. Let's trade Lowry for the young and hungry Rubio.
We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good SG. Let's trade Martin and let the young and hungry TWill play.
We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good SF. That's why we traded Battier and let the young and hungry Budinger start.
We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good PF. Let's trade Scola and let the young and hungry Hill play.
We aren't Win-Now, so we can't afford a good C. Let's keep Yao and let the young and hungry Thabeet play.... wait!

If we hire Kelvin Sampson I say yes to this trade because it confirms we are in tank mode.

    Kyle > Goran > Ricky

i'm from Slovenija, but I think Kyle is better than Goran. For now.
    Ricky WAS a talent!

last two years he show no progress.
i watch him in Barca, played against our team, Olimpija that have no stars in team, Ricky was not better than Vlado Ilievski, our PG...

    Kyle for Ricky? NO

Can't really think of anyone but a big man who took their team to a finals victory in what seemed a 1 man show, once in 94 and once in 03.

Rubio is THE worst player on his team Barca. Rubio is one of the very worst point guards that plays in the Euroleague. He struggles BIG TIME to even play at the Euroleague level.

Rubio is the 4th best point guard on his own team.

The Rockets fan base has an incredibly bizarre fixation with a very mediocre player (Rubio).

This post is undeniable proof that this guy has zero basketball knowledge. Rubio is an awful player at the Euroleague level and this guy thinks he can be a "superstar"...........

Given that this draft class sucks and that we're unlikely to find anybody life-changing at 14 or 23, I'd give up one of those draft picks straight up for the rights to Rubio.

That's all, though. Not that Minnesota would ever do that. Just sayin'.

EUROPE AND THE NBA PLAY TWO DIFFERENT ****ING STYLES OF BASKETBALL!

What makes players affective in one, won't make him affective in another and vice versa! Is that ****ing hard to understand.

Spanoulis is one of the top 4 players in Europe. Rubio is the 4th best point guard on his team. Rubio will NEVER be half as good as Spanoulis is. NEVER.

If Morey guts the Rockets roster for Rubio he is the worst GM ever in USA sports history.

Rubio has not done anything in Europe. People in the US think he is some star in Europe, when he is nothing but a total scrub. His accomplishments were ALL as a youth player.

At the senior level he is pretty much an awful player. I seriously doubt that Minny could even trade him to be honest about it. But just the discussion being brought up here makes me ill.

He is an absolute LIABILITY on the court. His team plays 4 on 5 on offense whenever he is on the court. And the other team leaves him WIDE OPEN all game long and he STILL can't shoot or score.

I will this forum exactly what kind of player Ricky Rubio is. He is Rafer Alston with much less shooting range. That is what he is. He is the Euroleague Rafer Alston, except he is a way worse shooter than Alston.

If the Rockets get Rubio - they got Rafer Alston, except that Rafer's shooting is Peja-like compared to Rubio. But in every other way, Rubio is the identical player to Rafer.

Morey needs to be fired immediately if he gives up anything more than a 2nd round draft pick for Rubio.
