30% chance or 3% chance. You can't trust these people ya know. A lot of them are from Kenya and aren't from here. They want to game the system. I don't have anything against dark skinned people. I do have a problem with criminals. And you are right, the fact that his senile grandmother can't remember where he was born...I mean come on, who is going to remember better than the grandmother? If she can't get it write, there's a big problem.

Obama has forged his birth certificate, and the gov't of Hawaii is complicit. It's clear that the newspapers falsely reported his birth as part of a bribe deal to create supporting evidence. It's also clear that Obama is making excuses about his birth and trying to distract us from this critical issue with the b.s. about Libya and the economy.

People - haven't you seen wag the dog?

Obama should be imprisoned for forging citizenship. In this country, you must prove you were born here...unless your name is Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt, Hoover, Coolidge, Harding, Wilson, Taft, Roosevelt, McKinley, Cleaveland, Harrison, Arthur, Garfield, Hayes, Grant, Johnson, Lincoln, Polk, Buchanan, Taylor, Jackson, Adams, Monroe, Madison, Jefferson, Adams, or Washington.

But this guy, he's suspicious, and he needs to be investigated. Why not appoint a special prosecutor to do some research and at least see if there has been any lying? I mean, start with the grandmother. Find out why the birth certificate was forged and who did that. We need to understand why the gov't of Hawaii won't let us inspect the original certificate under the freedom of information act.

My intention was to be done, but I want to clear up some things,...Obama does not need to be investigated, if sweet lou for 2 believes he needs to be investigated that is his stance not mine...

Second, Major...ignorantly assumed I didn't know about the newspaper ad...Guess what ? - I did...I just wanted to see the source of the link so I could examine the added information if there was any...

The definition of stupid people is not considering the possibilities...That is what gets people killed in this world. ... I will not feel 100% that he was born in Hawaii not based on color but circumstance...Is the evidence stronger he WAS born in Hawaii, Yes, but I will examine evidence for and against and make up my own mind...there are few things in this world you can feel 100% about and if you think otherwise, then that is a clear and present danger . . .Gray! The world is gray, Jack! ...

just curious, what added information were you looking for? does the absesnce of that make the birth announcement inauthentic?

did the other birth announcements on the same page had any additional info that Obama's birth announcement didn't?

I was looking to see if there was commentary about it from a third party.

Sure you did. But if true, that you still believe the WND nonsense despite having had more than a few hours to learn the facts just makes your position even more ridiculous.

No definition of the word stupid involves "not considering possibilities." These are various definitions of stupid:

    1. lacking in common sense, perception, or normal intelligence
    2. ( usually postpositive ) stunned, dazed, or stupefied: stupid from lack of sleep
    3. having dull mental responses; slow-witted
    4. trivial, silly, or frivolous

These is the most common definition of idiot:

    –noun
    1.
an utterly foolish or senseless person.

Each accurately defines the characteristics of birthers. They are stupid and they are idiots; combined, that makes them stupid idiots.

I also would note that you avoided the question that all birthers run from: WHY would there be a falsified birth announcement or birth certificate back in the 1960's in the first place?

so what are the solid fact based evidence that hasn't clearly been debunked that prove Obama wasn't born in the US?

    are they?

    1. some blog reported the wrong hospital
    2. an old neighbor doesn't remember seeing Obama being born

    what else?

I have never met a birther. Where do you meet these folks. Maybe I have met some, but they hide their delusions from me? I guess if I met one I would know they get all their info from FOX News.

Do you think we might actually have one on this forum? I suppose so as the polls show 1/3 of GOP ers are birthers. Still, crazy.

HINT: WND probably won't give you your answer, but if you need assistance on your google search, look up Donald Trump. He's answered this question for you.

Where does this logic stop? Are we supposed to investigate everything we can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt?

I wasn't there the night my dad banged my mom, so how can I be sure he's really my dad? Sure, there are pictures of him holding me at the hospital, and he's been my dad for the last 41 years, but how can I be 100% sure it was really me and not just some other baby? Maybe I should call him tonight and demand a DNA test just to be sure? After all, there are few things in this world you can feel 100% about and if you think otherwise, then that is a clear and present danger...

birthers = 9/11 conspiracy loonies = never landed on moon loonies = holocaust never happened loonies. They're all on the same level. And this is coming from a person who didn't vote for Obama in 2008 and probably won't in 2012.

With all the facts clearly pointing to Obama being born in the US, can people who are still not 100% convinced that Obama was not born in the US considered as birthers?

    That's the whole point.

The evidence for has been laid out rather nicely.

    1. Certificate of Live Birth

    2. Eyewitness accounts of the actual birth certificate

    3. newspaper announcements of the birth

The evidence against comes down to an old neighbor who can't remember.

It's ridiculous that somebody could claim to look at both sides of the evidence and still give credibility to the side that maintains he wasn't born in HI.

I'll respond to you in good faith here and assume this isn't a trap question:

I know 2 birthers. One I deal with on an everyday basis and we have conversations that breakdown into pretty unhappy endings quite often because of this issue.

You gotta do what I do with people I care about who love to quote Rush and Beck incessantly.

Inform them that I have no desire to talk politics with them, and if they bring up politics I will walk away.

I just cant seem to use my scathing sarcasm towards intellectually dishonest people who are good friends or family, so I avoid it. It just isnt worth the aggravation.

Trump’s Rebuttal To Proof Of Obama’s Birth Certificate: ‘Somebody’ Told Me ‘It Doesn’t Exist’

America’s current political jester Donald Trump has fed his unquenchable need for attention by repeatedly touting the disproven “birther” myth. Trump purportedly sent a team of researchers to Hawaii on a quixotic search to disprove the fact that President Obama was born in Hawaii. However, when asked what he has found, Trump repeatedly demurred — telling reporters “I’ll let you know that at a future date” and that “it’s none of your business.”

But CNN’s Anderson Cooper made it his business to find out who Trump’s crack team is actually talking to in Hawaii and, in an interview, confronted Trump about his research. Trump informed Cooper that he just learned the the birth certificate is “not there and it doesn’t exist.” Who told him that? “Somebody,” Trump said:

TRUMP: Well I’ve been told very recently Anderson that the birth certificate is missing. I’ve been told that it’s not there and it doesn’t exist. And if that’s the case, that’s a big problem.

    COOPER: Who told you that?

TRUMP: I just heard that two days ago from somebody.

    COOPER: From your investigators?

TRUMP: I don’t want to say who. But I’ve been told that the birth certificate is not there, it’s missing.[...]

COOPER: Can you name even one person who your investigators have talked to?

TRUMP: I don’t want to do that right now. It’s not appropriate right now.

CNN researchers decided to save Trump the trouble and actually investigate. First, they spoke with Dr. Chiyome Fukino, former Hawaii Department of Health Director and a Republican, who took advantage of a state law allowing her to see President Obama’s birth certificate stored in a vault. Fukino declared the certificate “absolutely authentic.” She even put disputed Trump’s suggestion that Obama is hiding that he’s a Muslim to rest, pointing out that no birth certificate from that time mentions faith.

Aware of Trump’s concern that no one remembers baby Obama, CNN went ahead and found them too. Not only did Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie (D) reiterate his memory of celebrating the birth with Obama’s mother, but so did Dunham’s college adviser and another mother giving birth in the hospital when Obama was born. She remembered because “in those days, there were hardly any other black babies.”

The repeated debunking of the birther conspiracy has convinced numerous Republicans that Trump offers nothing but a “joke” candidacy. Last night, Gov. Jan Brewer (R-AZ) told CNN’s John King that this issue “is leading our country down a path of destruction.” Americans agree, with 64 percent saying “they would definitely not vote for Trump in 2012″ and half of all Americans believing he’d be a “poor” or “terrible” leader. This, however, seems to be another fact Trump will entirely ignore.

you do realize tha none of the other birth announcements have any "commentary from a third-party" right? not sure why you expect infant Obama to be any different

commentary on what? commentary on his looks? his parent's looks? the meaning of his name? his faith? his future?

I can appreciate you folks that were born here in the USofA. I can see why you think a birth certificate is not as important. Cool. That's you guys.

I, for one, was born overseas on a military compound to an American GI and a Japanese national. ALL MY LIFE I was told I could never be the president of the United States because of my birthplace.

Well guess the freak what? 10 years ago I learned that I can become president...now. The rules changed on me. The law didn't change, but someone's interpretation of it changed.

So you guys better remember that in your discussion.

As for me, I support the birthers. Let them rock. Doesn't really hurt anybody. Because I sure wish I had their determination when everybody was crapping on my presidential parade.
