Joey Crawford is the best

    1. Joey Crawford: Passionate and competent, Crawford runs a game like no other. Some might not like the way Crawford goes about his business. That's fine. It doesn't change the fact he still might be the best ref out there and will be remembered as one of the greats. To see Joey Crawford tossing up the opening tip is to know that the game's outcome will be decided by your team's players.

The writer must be a fan of the Lakers or Celtics.

This is from a blogger, so, not really surprised.

After Violet Palmer, Crawford is the worst.

Not because of his X's and O's, but because of his complete lack of professionalism.

Obviously. There's no other acceptable reason to be a fan of Crawford's officiating unless you're related to him or you're David Stern.

Crawford has been a crappy ref as long as I can remember, but what makes this absolutely ridiculous is that this was written after the Tim Duncan incident and the subsequent suspension. How anyone could still think Crawford is a decent ref after that is beyond me.

I can't remember where I read it from, but he believes he has a duty as a ref to control the flow of the game, and that all the players should respect that power.

If not, I guess he's free to shove players in the chest, run into them in transition, or make the first quarter last 40 minutes in real time.
