I think a few pundits need to start eating crow. But I'm sure they will just chalk it up to the spurs being old. And they will all pick okc to win in the semis. We'll see, wont we.

Some of it is the Spurs being overrated; the rest is the Grizzlies being underrated. I think tonight should nuke any doubt a reasonable person would have as to who is better. Too bad for the Spurs the playoffs aren't in December.

Should be a good 2nd round series. I wanted the Spurs to advance because they would have been an easier matchup. (But we speak prematurely).

The grizzlies knew they were going to win. That's why they went out and buried the spurs.

The spurs might win game 5 but if they do I see the grizzlies closing it out in fedexforum.

Arthur, Gasol, Randolph & greivis vasquez, we also got and traded away javais crittenden.

Probably something I'm leaving out. But Marc and Arthur, plus the flexibility to sign randolph. We also made millions doing cash consideration deals for other teams.

Didn't bother watching this. Today was just awful in general and so I sort of figured that the pattern would continue and the Spurs would lose. And this didn't help my mood at all.

Don't get ahead of yourself. I'm very impressed with the Grizz and hope they go far, but this series isn't over.

Of course you didn't. No spurs fan wants to watch it now that the spurs got blown out. Yet you all were talking up a storm that game 4 is the game the spurs regain home court and they got blown out.

Of course the grizzlies didn't have anything to do with it: it was the spurs played bad or their old. I forget which excuse you all are using now.

How can you be impressed with a team you didn't even bother to watch, yet had an opinion on. But your in good company because I don't any of the national media even gave us 1 game of their time. They just assused the spurs and went on.

I watched them during the year and wasn't that impressed. Tonight was the first time I've seen them in the playoffs and they looked really good. I hope they win the series because it's nice to see new teams go deep. But it's by no means over-- see Phoenix/LA in '06, for one recent example.

i watched the game and knew memphis was going to win this one, however san antonio is very experienced and should not panic as the series is not over quit yet. I do believe memphis will win however, have believed in them the whole series

Oh I wasn't talking to you, but clippy. If you read back a ways he talking all of this knowledge about our team and today confesses that he hasn't watched one game in the series.

The hardest thing to do is close out a series. I think our guys know this and they will come prepared to end it in san antonio.

Then, if we do win that, the grizzlies are going to have to endure the disrespect once again, I doubt if even one media member picks the grizzlies to beat okc.

WTF are you talking about? I said before the series that it would be an upset if Memphis won, which was going by the basic fact that #1s very rarely lose to #8s, and the Spurs were very consistent all year save for one period at the end when they hit a lot of injuries. I didn't claim to have a lot of knowledge about either team. I watched about 10 games of each during the regular season and the Grizz never impressed me then, but they seem to be playing much better defense in the playoffs. I was rooting for the Grizz to close out but since you are being such an arrogant douche, I'll just go with the Spurs.

You said the grizzles have never won one playoff game and I'd wouldn't be shocked if they got swept because the spurs were coasting.

Maybe I misunderstood how much knowledge about our team you were bring to the table. I just assumed your comment was coming from an informed opinion.

But whatever, I'm glad the grizzlies are converting you. I hope more people start seeing how hard we play basketball.

I'll be there for Game 5, we're going to rock that house.

I know the Spurs will be pissed and I hope for a blowout.

I don't want to talk about anything after game 5, but all the pressure would go back to the grizz to not want to come back to SA for a game 7.

    GO SPURS GO

LOL, I don't care about either of these teams but I figure if most Grizz fans are like 'what' then may as well root for the Spurs. Then again, a quick trip to SpursTalk has made me a Grizz fan again :)
