After we get our hands on a legit center, of course!

This guy is a total freak of nature and has developed his game tremendously. For this season, he averages 2.4 blocks a game while only playing around 27 minutes. His rebounding, at 7.6 for the season, is pretty low for a guy with his athleticism but it can be improved and he has shown that in the playoffs so far. Imagine what the Rockets would look like and how much we would scare other teams if we got our hands on talents like Tyson Chandler or DeAndre Jordan, then pursued and signed Ibaka! I for one would be excited to see this happen. We can possibly trade some of our assets, like Scola, draft picks, or young talent for this guy.

What are your thoughts? What kinds of trades cam DM make (assuming we do not send him packing after the fiasco that he caused when we parted ways with Adelmen) that results in Ibaka buying a home in Houston for a few years?

I would love to see I-block-a in Houston, but he's untouchable. The Westbrook-Durant-Serge core is going to wreak havoc on the league for many years to come.

Guess what? He was drafted a pick before our Batum pick in 08.

This could only happen if coercion was involved.

But really if you two jokers are really asking why it matters then you two need to gtfo this site. The Rockets needs a big man really bad now and days. And to know that a really good up and coming center was drafted one spot ahead of you, its a little frustrating.

Some of you might be thinking, Artest trade blah blah blah.....

Because the Rockets have missed out several times to get the shotblocker we need. Dorsey over DeAndre, Batun(Donte Greene) over Ibaka... Almost just a fun fact, but whenever someone brings up a player the Rockets passed on yall just answer that with "why does it matter?". I found it interesting to kno that such a good player was picked so late in the fist round...

Batum was NOT selected over Ibaka -- Serge was already off the board when we drafted.

    What a genius thread.

Let's make a deal for LeBron.

Let's make a deal for Dwight Howard.

Let's make a deal for a bridge in Brooklyn!

    What a joke. LOL!

Here's the thing, Serge Ibaka is neither LeBron or Dwight (I hope you can notice the talent difference ;)). Sure, it would be awesome if a deal could be made to get them in Houston but that is a dream of its own, one that is too far of a reach. I'm looking for something more realistic, like this dynamic PF or center like DeAndre Jordan. It wouldn't require the Rockets to relinquish half of their roster to obtain this one player. So, I guess I can thank you for commending me on this thread because of the fact that I don't live my life in some kind of dream world where the Rockets get their hands on LeBron and Dwight this summer. Please, if you have no real input for a serious thread and would rather troll around the site looking to insult people for putting out their thoughts or expressing their enthusiasm for the game and the Glorious Houston Rockets, then....GTFO
