    Wow! I have been gone a while and Rick Adelman is gone as coach and Morey is talking even more changes. Alot has happened in just a few days. Where do we begin from here? I am thinking we begin with Elston Turner and a few College coach hotshots and some some young guys who are defensive specialists sitting on the NBAs benches behind other coaches.

    I'm Thinking in Jack Sikma or Elston Turner Nothing Out of that............................ Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Brown are the other that come to my mind

    Sorry to not acknowledge your appreciation individually. But I do appreciate that you enjoyed my opinion. I am sad that I was moved to write, it, though. I don't post much except when something major happens, that also happens to disturb me in some way. I am sorry the "big 3" of management couldn't find a way to play together. I do think it will be a loss for the organization and the team.


    worzel... it really wasn't about T-mac. You had to read past the first paragraph to get that. At any rate, maybe you also just didn't like the opinion. And that's all it was.

    ....so was Adelman a top 5 paid coach in the league? I think I saw where he made just under 7 mil a year and I think good coaches make like 6. Was this a "why pay for an elite coach if we don't have an elite roster" moment?

    Ugh...now Woodson is trying to throw his name in the hat. Really? This is soooo depressing. I'll take Mike Brown over him in a heartbeat but I'll be honest - these are some pretty depressing choices...but I suppose it's time to decrease my expectations for our talent and coaching.

    The thing that makes me most upset is - Adelman is a pretty good coach and I guarantee you that we just gave him to the Lakers(book it - a short flight to his home, the chance to get paid as much if not more than what he was paid in Houston, an opportunity to make another deep playoff run, etc). I hate to see the Lakers catching all the breaks.

    That is the big plan from Les and DM, to win big instead of winning now. In plain English - we get a cheap coach while we are tanking.

    Don't really like this move, but I saw it comming. And I belive it was Adelman's decision to leave. We are not winning and he was brought here to win with our former stars. It didn't happen.
