This all boils down to size of the penis in question.

I don't know about you guys. But I draw the line after gay and lesbian rights. There are some factors of life where you can't control and you are just born with; but transsexuals? Woman with a penis just does not compute.

And I understand a lot of you have your opinions and support equality for all. I understand that, but there's going to be a line drawn somewhere and for me it's transsexuals. Hopefully, we don't start campaigning for animal rights, etc.

Although, I do wish that people would just call me out directly for my opinions rather than telling me, "**** you, come out of the stone age and join us at some point" through the rep system. Haha.

Also, I regard transsexualism as a choice; not something you are born with. Which is why I say no.

I stand firm by the belief that if you are born as a guy; girl you should stick with it. If you're born gay, fine. But transsexuals... that's where I draw the line.

Very well then, even though I didn't rep or neg rep you. What harm does it do to you for a transexual where they pee especially if they do so behind a closed stall door.

Also when you say you draw the line what line are you drawing? Does that mean we deny transexual human rights since they have made a choice to alter the gender they were born with.

It's the same effect of a man going into a woman's restroom. You can change your external appearance as much as you can, but at the end of the day you're still a man.

It just means I'm not comfortable with it at all. What I care as an individual does not matter, but I'm certain a lot of people share my views. And collectively it's a major taboo in society. You can call me a conformist, but these are my views.

I admit myself that I am uncomfortable around a transexual, sometimes even someone who is gay or lesbian. I think it's more about how they act and present themselves rather than their sexual orientation, though. They seem to be more publicly flamboyant, which is probably why I feel a little uncomfortable.

That doesn't mean I deny their civil rights. They are still humans, and they shouldn't be considered second class citizens due to their sexual orientation.

The word "ladyboy" is offensive to the transgendered community.

What about those born with estrogen or testosterone insensitivity? They may have male/female phenotypic genitalia but the opposite gender genotype. This isn't a simple issue. It can be very confusing for the patients' physicians, let alone for the patients.

I dont hate anyone, but I also dont like the fact of a person changing their sex. I'm with you on this one you should stick with what you were born with.

Does not compute. If they are not bothering you, infringing on your rights, or causing abuse to others without consent, why the heck do you care what they do? It's none of your business, frankly - get over yourself.

I will never understand the bigot's impulse to tell other people how to live their lives.
