OK have a COZY brand gas heater/furnace. Its summer now and I want to cut it completely off. Do I cut off the pilot first or gas?
Whatever you do, just walk away from it when you're done, nice and slow. <iframe title="YouTube video player" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Sqz5dbs5zmo" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="390" width="640"></iframe>

Why did I come into this thread for no other reason that to see the Smart Alec remarks to anything ToyCen428 posts? "GOOD JOB" - Hancock Rocket River
If you feel the need to kill the pilot light, just turn off gas and pilot light. It doesnt matter wich one first. Or you could just leave it on so you dont have to re-light it when it gets cold. A pilot light only uses about 10 cents a day, or $3 a month.
