I'd like to see the Knicks attempt to play defense against him and see what he does.

What a stupid comment by D'Antoni

    LOL @ the Minny shot.

Well Antoni, he plays in Boston and is killing your guards. Do something to stop him.

Pringles be whining but he is right

Before the big three, Rondo was garbage. If the trade never went down he would be a marginal NBA guard

Before the big three Rondo was a rookie playing limited minutes. He actually looked good in those limited minutes, too.

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone said used the Big 3 excuse.

What happened the year KG was out the whole playoffs? Rondo still put up very good numbers. In fact Rondo has been the most consistent player for Boston in the playoffs the last 3 years so the whole he wouldn't be that good without the big 3 is garbage.

my guess is he would still be able to drive past the knicks guards no matter what team he played for.

rondo would still be an upper tier pg in this league but his lack of an offensive game would get exposed.

in the 08-09 playoffs he shot 42% from the field, 25% from behind the arc, and 66% from the free throw line.

and rondo is a great passer but i still feel that his assist are a little inflated because he passes to great finishers.

Rondo was just a rookie before the big 3. He barely even played.

He got the opportunity and took it.

Right now he is the reason Boston is a title contendor.

D'Antoni also wants to know how well Chris Duhon, Boris Diaw, and Shawn Marion would do outside his own system

I think so too. I think he'd do well in Minny though, that team has some young talent and he may be the missing piece that makes them a playoff team with Beasley and Love plus up and comers like Wes.

But on Toronto? I think opposing teams can focus a lot on simply just stopping Rondo and I think he'd still be a good player though

No he didn't. There was a reason he had limited minutes

He was a disappointment. I remember Boston people riding the guy because he came out of school early which gave the impression Boston found a "hidden jewel" late in the first round

He was terrible from the field, terrible from the line. Go and compare his first year stats to any other "top tier" point guards first year stats--no comparison.

Its really a circular argument but the gist of Pringles whine is absolutely correct

Without the big three Rondo probably would be "Skip to my Lou" the second

So Rondo would be Skip to My Lou without the Big 3

So I'm guessing you think Skip would be Rondo in Boston which is just laughable if so.
