I don't see why JR Smith doesn't start, he could be their star.

The dumb pass of the century if the Thunder lose the game.

With 44 seconds on the clock he tosses a inbound pass to the other side of the court letting no time go off and giving up a possession.

    Not even close.

That was as good as defense could get.

i understand it's the end of the game so they're not going to call much, but after only seeing one replay it sure looked like smith was fouled. it certainly wasn't blocked and there was contact and it came up 10 feet short. maybe harden's arms were straight up but i'd have to see another replay.

The contact was caused by Smith flailing around, while Harden kept his hands straight up and jumped straight up, it's not a foul. Great defense by Harden.

There was contact after the release from that replay that I saw. Hardin's hand knocked Smiths. Man, JR Smith went off on the ref hardcore after it wasn't called

I think Harden may have fouled JR Smith underneath and thrown his shot off completely. Up top, there appeared to be contact but Harden's arms were straight up.

Risky defense but it worked perfectly.

Nobody gets that foul call often. Defender has to jump a little bit, at least, and then JR could throw himself into the body of the defender. JR just lost his dribble and was screwed with no timeouts left and no teammates coming to his aid. I've only seen that straight hands up foul get called once before (Dirk got the call against Ryan Bowen).

What kind of repercussions can a player face for swearing and going off on a ref after regulation has ended? Just curious

Smith was totally fouled right above the elbow. That's why the shot came up eight feet short. I've seen that call made plenty of times.
