Congrats, Manu. You acted like the old Z-Bo out there. Though you had a generally good game over all.

Just win the next game, and we'll get home court back. Though someone step up other than Manu and to a degree Timmeh.

Someday I'll bandwagon a team that wins.

I don't understand the love for Rudy. He's a phenomenal athlete and can do so many things on the court but he is not someone who can make your team incredibly better (or better). When Rudy got injured I predicted that Memphis was going to do better now that Tony Allen got a chance to play more because he was going to bring a toughness about them.

Rudy will never lead a team to a championship. Because he is getting paid like a franchise star he will not get to any kind of championship series (WC or Finals) as the leader of the team with his contract.

they were playing well WITH rudy too. it's just that they were able to maintain it when rudy went down b/c others have stepped up.

rudy is a guy who can create his own shot on the perimeter, and that is something that is a MUST in the playoffs.

The grizzlies are taking it from the spurs. The spurs aren't giving them anything.

Like I said a while back, anybody that watches the grizzlies for any amount of time and don't respect them, they just don't like basketball.

Guess what, the grizzlies are far from done in this playoffs. We win on monday and it's just about over for the spurs.

It'll depend on Parker. He's been freaking outplayed by Conley, what a disgrace. Right now, if I was asked for a Lowry-Parker trade, I'd laugh it off if I was Morey. Either way, I'm confident that we'll prevail.

The Grizzlies piss me off as they're beating the team I want to win and one I actually respect, but in general I think nothing about them, really.

Granted they are not as bad as the Mavericks, but come on people, it is still the Spurs and to see them lose to anyone (outside of the Mavericks, of course) is very sweet. Go Grizzle!

It's been a great day for Rocket fans to see the Spurs AND Mavericks lose in the same day, especially with the EPIC FAIL that the Mavericks unleashed for us.

I'm almost willing to say it's over now. It isn't a "matchup issue" like some say: The Grizzlies are just better than the Spurs. The Spurs are overrated (which I've been saying since December) and the Grizzlies are underrated. The better team is ahead 2-1 and it isn't an upset.

If McDyess isn't 100% the rest of the series, put a nail in the Spurs because I think everything needs to go right for them to win 3/4 against the Grizzlies. They peaked at the wrong time.

I still haven't seen an explanation for why we hate the Spurs. Is there a reason beyond that they're also in Texas? It's not like we've had any bitter defeats against them the main memory between the two teams I have is Olajuwon crushing Robinson - and they're not from the pit that is Dallas, plus they're a small-market team led by a great guy. I just don't understand the hate for them that there is reasonably is for Utah or Dallas.

You might not have a grasp on reality if you believe that parker is laying eggs instead of the grizzlies having something to do with it.

It is probably a surprise to the general basketball fan that parker is being outplayed by conley. Conley is apparently a big secret outside of memphis. It's no surprise to the grizzlies fans though. We already knew that conley has taken his game up a notch.

    1 game. A fluke. 3 games? Ummm.

The best thing about these wins is that we are executing in the half court in tight games and winning the game a possession at a time. I don't see how the spurs could ask for any better opportunity to beat us then they've already had, we are just making the plays.

On a side note, the building in fedex was rocking tonight. I was in the building.

Do these same Grizzlies fans think Rudy Gay is better then Kevin Durant? I have wondered whether it's something you guys think in general, or if it's just you. I don't know any Grizzlies forums.

I have heard that Conley has improved over the course of this year, but it's not like he's responsible for Parker playing he has persay - perhaps I'm just biased because of the way he plays against Lowry. Gasol has played significantly better than I expected, especially since I heard he regressed this year.

Anyways, I'm saying I still expect Spurs victory. That's all there is to it, really?

I never said Rudy was better than Durant, I said that those that believe that durant is on a different planet, meaning significantly better, than gay are wrong and I laid out my reasons.

My official position on Gay v. Durant is that gay is closer to durant than he is giving credit for, and I don't pine for durant on my team because I like what rudy brings to the table. Gay is not better than durant, but durant is certainly not that much better than gay, at all. These two players are very similar.

Nobody thinks Rudy Gay is equal to Durant but the gap between them is not as great as perceived. For some reason people think they sound smart when they say Player XYZ will never lead a team to a title. Well since that applies to 98% of the league, you ain't saying much.

Yeah I like Conley and he is only gonna get better...Not a Grizzlies fan but I like their pieces.. I think they got the luckiest draw in playing the Spurs though...If they can get Mayo's head screwed on right then look out!!!

Gay is nice but isnt close to Durant..Durant is as close as unguardable as anyone...The other WAS Dirk!!..I like Rudy though but wouldnt necessarily say they're similar except for being volume shooters..
