here is one clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpcRvg5RRV0&feature=related.

it seems to me he started to play bball when he was very young. he's already known where to go on the court and position himself to receive ball. it seems to me he knows bball very well. he knows what to do on the court. of coz, it's just some highlights.

He just seems like a poor man's Thabeet, but I wouldn't mind using a late 2nd round pick for him

you got be kidding me. thabeet doesn't how to play bball. only thing he has is to block. he even can't maintain his balance every time he blocked a shot.

well, this kid knows bball way more than thabeet. his coordination is superior to thabeet. this kid knows where he should be and how to play with his teammates.

We have all of 2 spots in RGV available for young players. One of them is almost certainly Thabeet. Why draft another project C to split time with Thabeet at the C position in RGV? Just focus on developing Thabeet.

The other spot should go to Squid. We can't fill the roster with projects who have no hope of contributing in game situations.

Are you kidding me? RGV would dominate with their own twin towers.

Me too. I hope we trade Miller and Thabeet this off-season.

How sick would it be if we pick up Biyombo and Noguiera?

Not only is this kid the second coming of Manute Bol famine jokes, but Morey will never draft (and keep) an 18-year-old pure risk. He may be a seven footer, but he only weighs 200 lbs, which makes him a non-moneyball development project with a maturity deficit.

He now checks in at 220 currently and can run the floor very well for his size. He has good timing on his blocks already and knows how to keep the ball in play. He is also a pretty decent free throw shooter. Although he plays in a somewhat minor spanish league, he has still been playing against good talent. He knows basketball pretty well for an 18 year old. Good iq. Get him with a good big man coach and watch him take off in a year or two.

exactly. if comparing clips btw thabeet & the kid, you can see clearly the kid has way much better coordination than thabeet. thabeet fallen down every time he blocked a shot. the kid blocked a shot then immediately run to the other end. the kid knows to establish his position to be a easy target for passer.

I'd much rather give more time to Jordon Hill

They already have a broom from the closet that goes by the name of Josh Smith and is 6'11 210lbs. They want to steal another 1? How about we just buy them a nice deluxe mop from Walmart with extra long handle. Problem solved. Now leave our pick alone!

    Woj's article - http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_brazilian_prospect_nba_draft_042311

Lucas Nogueira is 7 feet tall and working to add strength to his 220-pound frame.

    (NBAE/Getty Images)
One of the world’s most intriguing teenage centers – Brazilian 7-footer Lucas Nogueira – has entered his name into the June 23 NBA draft, a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

Nogueira’s representatives informed the NBA in a letter sent on Friday. They plan to use the predraft workout process with teams to gauge how far into the first round Nogueira could climb this year.

More From Adrian WojnarowskiRondo destroys Knicks; Heat await Apr 23, 2011 Anthony falls short of stardom with loss Apr 20, 2011 Prospects have until June 14th to pull out of the draft.

After an impressive performance at the under-18 FIBA championships in July in San Antonio, Nogueira became an intriguing prospect for NBA executives. With a 7-foot-6 wingspan, he’s shown the potential to be a dominant force on the defensive end. Nogueira is still working to add strength to his 220-pound frame.

Nogueira is DraftExpress.com’s fourth-rated 18-year-old international prospect behind three players expected to be taken in the 2011 lottery – Jonas Valanciunas, Bismack Biyombo and Enes Kanter. Nogueira plays for Estudiantes of the Spanish League.

While Nogueira isn’t close to becoming an impact player in the NBA at 18 years old, he could be especially appealing to contending teams picking later in the first round or teams with multiple picks. Those teams will have a chance to develop him without the expectation of him contributing immediately.

If he's the younger brother to Minotauro, this guy will add toughness to our team. Dude got run over by a car when he was a kid and became one of the toughest and best fighters.

either him or biyombo or kanter would fit the bill perfectly but neither seems realistic to me.

Lucas Nogueira - 7 footer prospect

Since we are rebuilding, I was thinking maybe we should consider getting this guy late on the first or early second round. The guy has 7.6 wingspan.

He doesn't actually play in a minor league in Spain. He plays in a youth division in Spain. Big difference. Same thing as being a high school player in the US basically.
