they're not even trapping him. they're just putting a much larger defender on him and rose is not trying to take him off the dribble and settling for jumpers.

they need to run more pick and rolls with boozer then this "every body touches the ball" offense.

when rose uses the pick and roll, they're trapping him like crazy. they even trapped him into halfcourt like 2 times in the first half. when he doesn't use the pick and roll, it's pretty much straight up, but george is so athletic that he can afford to give rose space to prevent penetration.

what rose needs to do is play OFF THE BALL. the two tiems he did it, he got a dunk off of a back cut and a layup (when he twisted his ankle).

he can't play on the ball if george is on him.

    True.

His ball handling is iffy but hopefully he improves that.

He is a great athlete as well, he better not turn out to be the next Ariza on offense, lol.

When I made the statement I was talking about the supporting cast surrounding both players for most of the season not just the current supporting cast.

Yes right now Rose's cast is much better.

they are initiating the pick and roll form behind the three point line and going under the screen. they've not sending 2 defenders on him because paul george is the only guy around rose.

they need to get the ball to rose UNDER the 3 point line, initialize the pick, and if they go under the screen have rose use his mid-range game (which has been money all season) and if they go over it rose can blow pas his defender and get in the paint to score or make opportunities for teammates.

the bulls finished 2nd in defense and were 1st by a mile in rebounding. the hornets were i think 10th in both categories. the bulls may not have way more offensive talent, but have big time advantages over NO in other ways. and without david west, then the bulls also have more offensive talent.

Indiana's home crowd is just shameful. They should be embarrassed. I don't think I have ever seen a home game with this much of the opposing team's colors and yelling in the crowd.

finally more movement for the bulls offensively. they're trapping rose so that's what you gotta do. the pacers won't be able to recover to their man as fast.
