    Also - this was partly a Rondo highlights clip - how many assists did he get just by going to Ray Allen?

    Shooters like Ray Allen will last a LONG time in this league. Your ability to shoot does not decline, in fact it improves all the time.

    I would contest that his ability does rely a lot on his athleticism. If used purely as a spot-up shooter, Ray Allen is not better than a Korver or a Jones.

    I actually agree. He uses his mobility and quickness to gain space for the jumper. That may decline over time. Having said that, he still has a beautiful form to his shot and a lightning-quick release. He'll be knocking 'em down for a long time.
