this looks to be a nice cap to their 25+ long musical career. more genre bending beastie boys for the fans to devour. I like that Santigold collaboration... I have always enjoyed the way they use technology and the Internet to reach out to fans. lol, why post in a rare beastie boys thread? what else can I say? they are a group of cool dudes who play instruments, rap, and make fun of themselves in a DIY spirit and make a difference in the areas of philanthropy and social justice...

favorite tracks upon first listen include "nonstop disco powerpack". "say it" , "long burn the fire", "heres a little something for ya" and the instrumental "multilateral nuclear disarmament" a really nice return to some of their beats and production styles... a big step up from To The 5 Boroughs. collaborations with Nas, Santigold, and producer Zdar. solid, top notch. hopefully we'll see a tour if MCA gets healthy...
