i take offense when people call that prep-school cheerleader a texan.

as far as obama being a kenyan, the main reason i dont think its true is b/c if it was hillary clinton would have buried him w/ it. surely, she had an army of people digging into this and if they had found anything she would have used it.

Even without that added bit of cynicism, the implication is that a birther doesn't think the state of Hawaii has the proper tools or competent personnel to verify live births of their citizens. But if you're already that far gone over, then the "real" birth certificate would come into question as well. GASPSHOCKHORROR!

Playing along, he could've kept up the lie until running for office, but each time he did, he leaves his life open to be torn apart and scrutinized. So it takes a "special" bit of thinking to think they nobody would look into it because everyone either loves him too much or are too butthurt "Politically Correct" to bring it up, you know...because Black political candidates are Sacred Cows to be tread against lightly (not hypno-revisionist Fox speak for dimwit-Conservatives at all).

Cool man, you are like a puppetmaster manipulating people on both sides of the fence! Rejecting a fact while simultaneously not accepting the respective conspiracy theory puts you in a cognitive plane far beyond what the average human mind is capable of!

I suspect that you also don't believe man landed on the moon but are too cool for the usual the-moon-landing-was-fake crowd? I feel ya--serious lack of evidence on both sides for real!

Its one thing to bash bush on his policies, decisions, and even demeanor, that is all something we are seeing and describing. Its fine to bash Obama for the same in my opinion if you don't agree, what makes this absurd is that they are bashing him for not being a us citizen which he is, belonging to kenya, being a muslim(which he isn't, but there is nothing wrong with it if he is-whole other topic), try to make our country socialist or oppressive, or that he sides with terrorist.

These ridiculous literally made up notions are what makes the whole thing just sad, if they didnt agree with his views, then I think that is fair to bash and talk about, but the stuff they point out, its just ashame

I have no experience talking argumentative politics with anyone, but when someone insults or talks ill of my favourite band, Wolf Parade- it usually ends up with me boxing the ears of the person who was talking this filth. You might use this as a template to placate your anger.

The only fact here worth considering is that neither side of this argument has solid evidence to back their contention. The people who doubt his citizenship are grasping at straws hoping that Obama will somehow be un-elected. The people who castigate Obama's non-believers are desperate to create a diversion to shield his obvious flaws and ineptitude. None of them like someone who throws stones at both of their glass houses.

BTW, you may have watched "Capricorn One" too many times.

Yes we do. It's called a birth certificate that is considered valid by every court in the nation.

I agree, in the cutthroat, hand-to hand business of politics...someone even internally from the party (or especially from in the party) would have had that surface if true...

Great! Show me the birth certificate -- not a birth identification -- and I will join your camp.

Why doesn't Obama just show the birth certificate to shut up the political enemy?. . .

Why does it matter that much? I know it's the law, but does anyone actually think it makes any difference to his performance whether he was born in Hawaii or elsewhere and then moved to the US a month later?

Because the more you talk about it the stupider you sound.

If your enemy wants to make himself look like a fool, you'd be a fool to stop him.

Didn't both Hawaiian newspapers announce his his birth in their paper? This isn't some 50 year conspiracy created by a man from Kenya and a woman from Kansas.

    Conservatives are idiots.

He never had it. But he's damn good at fooling people about it. Repeatedly. Including me.

    But no more.

Because it has been investigated already. The fact that we even have this thread shows that it is a topic that has been investigated.

If you can frame innuendos based on suppositions you dream up, why can't I do the same?
