if you're teammates are doing nothing but throwing up bricks all game the impetus is on the superstar to takeover
i think they should isolate paul more instead of letting the lakers trap him and having him give it to scrubs like willie green and belinelli. are fisher and blake really going to stop him one on one?
yh the better basketball play is to pass it but there comes a point when enough is enough. For me he's been settling for too many shots; attack that double team and try to draw a foul on your opponents.
they can iso cp3 because he can **** on anybody in an iso situation. if they trap then the hornets should run off-ball screens for cp3 or have cutters going to the basket.
thats easier said than done. we're fans, and obviously we want that to happen. but he can start forcing the issue vs a smothering defense and starts missing. then all of you are going to say, "man pass the damn ball to an open teammate." that's the life of a superstar. chris paul knows what he is doing out there. his teammates made those same shots in game 1. they might miss them now, but he has to trust them b/c this series is not just one game. as a pure PG, you simply cannot lose trust of your teammates.
you're right that's what got them here I guess they can't just abandon it, but it is frustrating to watch
No, that's just how pathetic the Hornets are without their top scorer. This ain't gonna work against a legot team. Gasol better get his act together.
it definitely is. it was like with melo. i would rather him shoot over 2 guys than pass to an open teammate. but that's not how it works most of the time. you have to make the correct NBA play; this is not a video game.
especially with JJ turning the ball over. That pass by melo was the right one JJ just royally ****ed **** up LOL.
